desgleichen alles Übel der Männer Sichems vergalt ihnen Gott auf ihren Kopf, und es kam über sie der Fluch Jothams, des Sohnes Serubbaals.

Auch die Sichemiter mussten für ihr Verbrechen büßen: Gott ließ den Fluch wahr werden, den Gideons Sohn Jotam über sie ausgesprochen hatte.

und alles Böse, das die Einwohner von Sichem getan hatten, ließ Gott auf ihren Kopf zurückfallen. So kam über sie der Fluch Jotams, des Sohnes Jerubbaals.
