Es war aber um die Zeit, daß die Gerstenernte anging, da Naemi mit ihrer Schwiegertochter Ruth, der Moabitin, wiederkam vom Moabiterlande gen Bethlehem.

Als Noomi mit ihrer moabitischen Schwiegertochter Ruth nach Bethlehem kam, begann gerade die Gerstenernte.

So kehrte Noomi mit Rut, ihrer moabitischen Schwiegertochter, aus dem Grünland Moabs heim. Zu Beginn der Gerstenernte kamen sie in Betlehem an.
