Samuel aber sprach zu Saul: Der HERR hat mich gesandt, daß ich dich zum König salbte über sein Volk Israel; so höre nun die Stimme der Worte des HERRN.

Eines Tages kam Samuel zu Saul und sagte: »Der HERR hat mich damals beauftragt, dich als König über sein Volk Israel einzusetzen. Nun ist es an dir, dem Befehl zu gehorchen, den der HERR dir heute gibt.

Samuel sagte zu Saul: Der HERR hatte mich gesandt, um dich zum König seines Volkes Israel zu salben. Darum gehorche jetzt den Worten des HERRN!
