Meine Leute haben bloß einige Schafe und Rinder als Beute mitgenommen, und ich kann dir sagen: Es sind nur die besten von all den Tieren, die vernichtet werden sollten. Das Volk ließ sie leben, um sie hier in Gilgal dem HERRN, deinem Gott, zu opfern.«
