The prince himself is the only one who may sit inside the gateway to eat in the presence of the Lord. He is to enter by way of the portico of the gateway and go out the same way.”

Nur der Herrscher, der mein Volk regieren wird, darf im Torgebäude Platz nehmen und dort seinen Anteil vom Opfer essen, das mir, dem HERRN, dargebracht wird. Er soll das Gebäude durch die Vorhalle an der Innenseite betreten und es auf demselben Weg wieder verlassen.«

Nur der Fürst darf, weil er der Fürst ist, sich dort niedersetzen, um vor den Augen des HERRN die Opfermahlzeit abzuhalten. Dabei soll er von der Vorhalle des Tores aus eintreten und auf dem gleichen Weg wieder hinausgehen.
