Die Passahlämmer wurden nach Vorschrift am Feuer gebraten, während das übrige Fleisch für die Opfermahlzeiten in Töpfen, Kesseln und Schüsseln gekocht wurde. Sobald es gar war, verteilten die Leviten es in aller Eile an die Festbesucher.
