Then, by the good hand of our God upon us, they brought us a man of understanding, of the sons of Mahli the son of Levi, the son of Israel, namely Sherebiah, with his sons and brothers, eighteen men;

And by the good hand of our God upon us they brought us a man of understanding, of the sons of Mahli, the son of Levi, the son of Israel; and Sherebiah, with his sons and his brethren, eighteen;

Gott half uns, und so sandte man uns einen weisen Mann namens Scherebja. Er stammte aus der Sippe Machli, der ein Enkel von Levi und Urenkel von Israel war. Scherebja kam zusammen mit seinen Söhnen und Brüdern, insgesamt 18 Mann.

Da die gütige Hand unseres Gottes über uns war, schickten sie uns einen einsichtigen Mann, einen von den Nachkommen Machlis, des Sohnes Levis, des Sohnes Israels, nämlich Scherebja, mit seinen Söhnen und Brüdern, zusammen 18 Männer;
