On the seventh day the priest will make another examination. If he finds the affected area has faded and has not spread, the priest will pronounce the person ceremonially clean. It was only a rash. The person’s clothing must be washed, and the person will be ceremonially clean.

And the priest shall look on him again the seventh day: and, behold, if the plague be somewhat dark, and the plague spread not in the skin, the priest shall pronounce him clean: it is but a scab: and he shall wash his clothes, and be clean.

Sieht er, dass die Verfärbung der Haut nachgelassen und die Krankheit sich nicht weiter ausgebreitet hat, soll er ihn für rein erklären; denn der Fleck ist nur ein Hautausschlag. Der Kranke muss lediglich seine Kleider waschen, dann ist er wieder rein.

und ihn am siebten Tag abermals untersuchen. Wenn er dann feststellt, dass das Anzeichen nachgelassen und sich auf der Haut nicht ausgebreitet hat, soll ihn der Priester für rein erklären. Es handelt sich um einen Ausschlag. Der Kranke soll seine Kleider waschen, dann ist er rein.
