This went on day after day until Paul got so exasperated that he turned and said to the demon within her, “I command you in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her.” And instantly it left her.

And this did she many days. But Paul, being grieved, turned and said to the spirit, I command thee in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her. And he came out the same hour.

Das wiederholte sich an mehreren Tagen, bis Paulus es nicht mehr ertragen konnte. Er wandte sich zu der Frau um und sagte zu dem Dämon: »Im Namen von Jesus Christus befehle ich dir: Verlass diese Frau!« In demselben Augenblick verließ der Dämon die Sklavin.

Das tat sie viele Tage lang. Da wurde Paulus ärgerlich, wandte sich um und sagte zu dem Geist: Ich befehle dir im Namen Jesu Christi: Fahre aus dieser Frau aus! Und im gleichen Augenblick fuhr er aus.
