For we died and were buried with Christ by baptism. And just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glorious power of the Father, now we also may live new lives.

Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

Durch die Taufe sind wir also mit Christus gestorben und begraben. Und wie Christus durch die Herrlichkeit und Macht seines Vaters von den Toten auferweckt wurde, so haben auch wir ein neues Leben empfangen und sollen nun so handeln, wie es diesem neuen Leben entspricht.

Wir wurden ja mit ihm begraben durch die Taufe auf den Tod, damit auch wir, so wie Christus durch die Herrlichkeit des Vaters von den Toten auferweckt wurde, in der Wirklichkeit des neuen Lebens wandeln.
