Die Arbeiten am nächsten Abschnitt übernahm Nehemja, der Sohn von Asbuk, dem die Hälfte des Bezirks Bet-Zur unterstand. Dieser Teil der Mauer lag den Gräbern des Königshauses David gegenüber und erstreckte sich bis zum künstlich angelegten Teich und bis zu den Unterkünften der Offiziere.
