An dem Tag, an dem er arbeitet, sollst du ihm auch seinen Lohn geben. Die Sonne soll darüber nicht untergehen; denn er ist in Not und lechzt danach. Dann wird er nicht den HERRN gegen dich anrufen und es wird keine Strafe für eine Sünde über dich kommen.

Sie sind dringend auf ihren Lohn angewiesen. Darum gebt ihnen jeden Tag noch vor Sonnenuntergang ihr Geld. Sonst werden sie sich beim HERRN über euch beklagen, und ihr habt Schuld auf euch geladen.
