The Crossing of the Jordan
And Joshua rose early in the morning; and they removed from Shittim, and came to Jordan, he and all the children of Israel, and lodged there before they passed over. -
Und Josua machte sich früh auf, und sie zogen aus Sittim und kamen an den Jordan, er und alle Kinder Israel, und blieben daselbst über Nacht, ehe sie hinüberzogen.

Am frühen Morgen brach Josua mit allen Israeliten von Schittim auf. Als sie an den Jordan kamen, übernachteten sie dort, bevor sie ihn überschritten.
