Die drei Würdenträger verlangten sofort den König zu sprechen. Hiskia schickte drei seiner Hofbeamten zu ihnen hinaus: den Palastverwalter Eljakim, einen Sohn von Hilkija, den Hofsekretär Schebna und den Berater Joach, einen Sohn von Asaf.
