Because they ministered unto them before their idols, and caused the house of Israel to fall into iniquity; therefore have I lifted up mine hand against them, saith the Lord GOD, and they shall bear their iniquity.

Darum daß sie ihnen gedient vor ihren Götzen und dem Haus Israel einen Anstoß zur Sünde gegeben haben, darum habe ich meine Hand über sie ausgestreckt, spricht der HERR HERR, daß sie müssen ihre Sünde tragen.

Weil sie ihnen bei ihrem Götzendienst geholfen haben und für das Haus Israel der Anlass wurden, in Schuld zu fallen, darum habe ich meine Hand gegen sie erhoben — Spruch GOTTES, des Herrn — ; sie müssen ihre Schuld tragen.

Bis heute haben sie Götzenopfer für die Leute dargebracht und die Israeliten somit in schwere Schuld gestürzt. Doch damit ist jetzt Schluss! Ich, Gott, der HERR, habe meine Hand erhoben und geschworen, sie dafür zu strafen.
