And when we departed from Horeb, we went through all that great and terrible wilderness, which ye saw by the way of the mountain of the Amorites, as the LORD our God commanded us; and we came to Kadeshbarnea. -
Da zogen wir aus von Horeb und wandelten durch die ganze Wüste, die groß und grausam ist, wie ihr gesehen habt, auf der Straße zum Gebirge der Amoriter, wie uns der HERR, unser Gott, geboten hatte, und kamen bis gen Kades–Barnea.

Wir brachen vom Horeb auf und wanderten durch die gesamte Wüste, die große und Furcht erregende, dieselbe, die ihr schon gesehen hattet, diesmal auf dem Weg zum Amoriterbergland, wie es uns der HERR, unser Gott, befohlen hatte. Wir kamen bis Kadesch-Barnea.

Auf Befehl des HERRN verließen wir dann den Horeb und machten uns auf den Weg zum Bergland der Amoriter. Wir durchquerten die große, schreckliche Wüste, die ihr ja auch kennt, und erreichten Kadesch-Barnea.
