Ebenso seid auch ihr, meine Brüder und Schwestern, durch das Sterben Christi tot für das Gesetz, sodass ihr einem anderen gehört, dem, der von den Toten auferweckt wurde, damit wir Gott Frucht bringen.

Genauso wart auch ihr gebunden, und zwar an das Gesetz. Aber ihr seid davon befreit worden, als Christus am Kreuz für euch starb. Und jetzt gehört ihr nur noch ihm, der von den Toten auferweckt wurde. Nur so werden wir für Gott Frucht bringen, das heißt leben, wie es ihm gefällt.
