Darin hieß es: »Wenn ihr wirklich zu mir halten und meinen Befehlen gehorchen wollt, dann kommt morgen um diese Zeit zu mir nach Jesreel und bringt mir die Köpfe aller Nachkommen von König Ahab!« Die siebzig Söhne und Enkel von Ahab wohnten nämlich bei den vornehmsten Bürgern Samarias und wurden von ihnen erzogen.
