Und Asarja, der oberste Priester, wandte das Haupt zu ihm und alle Priester, und siehe, da war er aussätzig an seiner Stirn; und sie stießen ihn von dannen. Er eilte auch selbst, herauszugehen; denn seine Plage war vom HERRN.

And Azariah the chief priest, and all the priests, looked upon him, and, behold, he was leprous in his forehead, and they thrust him out from thence; yea, himself hasted also to go out, because the LORD had smitten him.

Als daher der Oberpriester Asarja und alle anderen Priester sich ihm zuwandten, zeigte sich der Aussatz an seiner Stirn. Sie drängten ihn eiligst von dort weg und auch er selbst beeilte sich hinauszukommen, da der HERR ihn geschlagen hatte.

Als Asarja und die anderen Priester das sahen, trieben sie ihn schnell aus dem Tempel. Auch Usija beeilte sich hinauszukommen, denn der Aussatz war ein Zeichen dafür, dass der HERR ihn gestraft hatte.
