Then Paul took the men, and the next day purifying himself with them entered into the temple, to signify the accomplishment of the days of purification, until that an offering should be offered for every one of them.

Da nahm Paulus die Männer mit und weihte sich am nächsten Tag zusammen mit ihnen, ging dann in den Tempel und meldete das Ende der Weihetage an, damit für jeden von ihnen das Opfer dargebracht werde.

Paulus nahm ihren Vorschlag an. Am nächsten Tag begleitete er die Männer und begann zusammen mit ihnen die vorgeschriebene Reinigung. Dann ging er in den Tempel und meldete dem Priester, dass die Männer ihr Gelübde erfüllt hatten. Nach der festgesetzten Frist von sieben Tagen sollte dann für jeden von ihnen ein Opfer dargebracht werden.

Paul Is Arrested
So Paul went to the Temple the next day with the other men. They had already started the purification ritual, so he publicly announced the date when their vows would end and sacrifices would be offered for each of them. -
