Dieser Landstrich beginnt beim Wadi Schihor östlich von Ägypten und zieht sich von dort in nördlicher Richtung bis nach Ekron. Er gehört zum Gebiet der Kanaaniter. Auch die Gegend der Awiter im Süden ist noch nicht eingenommen,
