Purification after Childbirth
And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,
And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,
І Господь промовляв до Мойсея, говорячи:
Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, If a woman conceive seed, and bear a male, then she shall be unclean seven days; as in the days of the separation of her infirmity shall she be unclean.
„Промовляй до Ізра́їлевих синів, говорячи: Коли жінка зачне́, і породить дитя чоловічої статі, то буде нечиста сім день; як за днів нечистоти місячного її, буде нечиста вона.
And on the eighth day shall the flesh of his foreskin be circumcised.
А во́сьмого дня буде обрі́зане тіло крайньої плоті його.
And she shall continue thirty-three days in the blood of her cleansing; no holy thing shall she touch, nor come into the sanctuary, until the days of her cleansing are fulfilled.
І буде вона сидіти в кро́ві очи́щення тридцять день і три дні. До всякої святощі не буде вона доторкатися, а до святині не вві́йде аж до ви́повнення днів очи́щення її.
And if she bear a female, then she shall be unclean two weeks, as in her separation; and she shall continue sixty-six days in the blood of her cleansing.
А якщо породить дитя жіночої статі, то буде нечиста вона два тижні, як за нечистости її місячної, і буде сидіти вона на крові очи́щення шістдеся́т день і шість день.
And when the days of her cleansing are fulfilled, for a son or for a daughter, she shall bring a yearling lamb for a burnt-offering, and a young pigeon or a turtle-dove for a sin-offering, to the entrance of the tent of meeting, unto the priest.
А по ви́повненні днів очищення її за сина або за дочку, принесе вона однорічне ягня на цілопа́лення, та голубеня́ або го́рлицю на жертву за гріх, до входу скинії заповіту до священика.
And he shall present it before Jehovah, and make atonement for her; and she shall be clean from the flux of her blood. This is the law for her that hath borne a male or a female.
І він принесе це перед Господнє лице, і очистить її, і вона очи́ститься від джерела́ своєї кро́ви. Це зако́н про породі́ллю дитини чоловічої або жіночої статі.
And if her hand cannot find what is sufficient for a sheep, she shall bring two turtle-doves or two young pigeons; one for a burnt-offering, and the other for a sin-offering; and the priest shall make atonement for her; and she shall be clean.
А коли рука її не спромо́жеться на ягня, то ві́зьме вона дві го́рлиці або двоє голубеня́т, — одне на цілопа́лення й одне на жертву за гріх, й очи́стить її священик, — і вона стане чиста“.
