The Oil for the Lamps

And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,

Господь сказал Моисею:

Command the children of Israel that they bring unto thee pure beaten olive oil for the light, to light the lamp continually.

— Вели израильтянам принести тебе чистое оливковое масло для освещения, чтобы в светильниках можно было постоянно поддерживать огонь.

Outside the veil of the testimony, in the tent of meeting, shall Aaron dress it from evening to morning before Jehovah continually: [it is] an everlasting statute throughout your generations.

Пусть Аарон смотрит за светильниками перед Господом вне завесы ковчега свидетельства в шатре собрания с вечера до утра, всегда. Это установление для грядущих поколений будет вечным.

Upon the pure candlestick shall he arrange the lamps before Jehovah continually.

Лампады на светильнике из чистого50 золота нужно всегда заправлять перед Господом.

The Showbread

And thou shalt take fine wheaten flour, and bake twelve cakes thereof; each cake shall be of two tenths.

— Возьми лучшую муку и испеки двенадцать хлебов, из двух десятых частей ефы51 каждый.

And thou shalt set them in two rows, six in a row, upon the pure table before Jehovah.

Выложи их в два ряда, по шесть в каждый, на стол из чистого52 золота перед Господом.

And thou shalt put pure frankincense upon each row; and it shall be a bread of remembrance, an offering by fire to Jehovah.

На каждый ряд положи чистого ладана, чтобы он был при хлебе как памятная часть, как огненная жертва Господу.

Every sabbath day he shall arrange it before Jehovah continually, on the part of the children of Israel: [it is] an everlasting covenant.

Этот хлеб нужно класть перед Господом всегда, суббота за субботой, от лица израильтян по вечному завету.

And it shall be Aaron's and his sons'; and they shall eat it in a holy place; for it is most holy unto him of Jehovah's offerings by fire: [it is] an everlasting statute.

Он принадлежит Аарону и его сыновьям. Пусть они едят его в святом месте, потому что это великая святыня, их постоянная доля в огненных жертвах Господу.

Shelomith's Son Blasphemes

And the son of an Israelitish woman -- but withal the son of an Egyptian, -- went out among the children of Israel; and this son of the Israelitess and a man of Israel strove together in the camp;

Сын израильтянки и египтянина вышел с израильтянами, и между ним и израильтянином в лагере случилась драка.

and the Israelitish woman's son blasphemed the Name, and cursed; and they brought him to Moses. And his mother's name was Shelomith, the daughter of Dibri, of the tribe of Dan.

Бранясь, сын израильтянки хулил имя, и его привели к Моисею. (Его мать зовут Шеломит, дочь данитянина Диври.)

And they confined him, that they might decide at the mouth of Jehovah.

Его заключили под стражу до тех пор, пока не откроется о нем воля Господа.

And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,

Господь сказал Моисею:

Lead the reviler outside the camp; and all that heard [him] shall lay their hands upon his head, and the whole assembly shall stone him.

14

— Выведи богохульника за лагерь. Пусть те, кто слышал его, положат руки ему на голову, и пусть общество забьет его камнями.

15

And thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel, saying, Every one when he revileth his God shall bear his sin.

15

Скажи израильтянам: «Проклинающий своего Бога подлежит наказанию.

16

And he that blasphemeth the name of Jehovah shall certainly be put to death; all the assembly shall certainly stone him; as well the stranger as he that is home-born, when he blasphemeth the Name, shall be put to death.

Любой, кто станет оскорблять имя Господа, будет предан смерти. Общество забьет его камнями. Поселенец или уроженец страны, — если он станет оскорблять имя, будет предан смерти.

An Eye for an Eye

And if any one smiteth any man mortally, he shall certainly be put to death.

17

Тот, кто убьет человека, должен быть предан смерти.

18

And he that smiteth a beast mortally shall make it good, life for life.

18

Тот, кто убьет чужую скотину, должен возместить животным за животное.

19

And if a man cause a blemish in his neighbour, as he hath done, so shall it be done to him;

19

Если кто-то нанесет своему ближнему увечье, то сделанное им нужно сделать ему самому:

20

breach for breach, eye for eye, tooth for tooth: as he hath caused a blemish in a man, so shall it be done to him.

20

перелом за перелом, глаз за глаз, зуб за зуб. Как он изувечил ближнего, так пусть изувечат и его.

21

He that smiteth a beast [mortally] shall make it good; and he that smiteth a man [mortally] shall be put to death.

21

Убивший животное должен возместить, но убивший человека должен быть предан смерти.

22

Ye shall have one law: as the stranger, so the home-born; for I am Jehovah your God.

22

И для поселенца, и для уроженца страны пусть у вас будет один закон. Я — Господь, ваш Бог».

23

And Moses spoke to the children of Israel; and they led the reviler outside the camp and stoned him with stones. And the children of Israel did as Jehovah had commanded Moses.

23

Моисей приказал израильтянам, и они вывели богохульника за лагерь и забили камнями. Израильтяне сделали так, как повелел Моисею Господь.
