And I lifted up mine eyes, and saw, and behold a man with a measuring line in his hand.

І звів я очі свої, та й побачив, аж ось чотири ро́ги.
And I said, Whither goest thou? And he said unto me, To measure Jerusalem, to see what is the breadth thereof, and what is the length thereof.
І запита́в я ангола, що говорив зо мною: „Що́ це?“ А він відказав мені: „Це ті ро́ги, що розпоро́шили Юду й Ізраїля та Єрусалим“.
And behold, the angel that talked with me went forth; and another angel went forth to meet him,
І Господь показав мені чотирьох майстрів.
and said unto him, Run, speak to this young man, saying, Jerusalem shall be inhabited as towns without walls for the multitude of men and cattle therein;
І запитав я: „Що́ вони приходять зробити?“ А Він відказав, говорячи: „Це ті ро́ги, що розпоро́шили Юду, так що ніхто не підвів голови́. А ці прийшли́ настраши́ти їх, щоб скинути ро́ги тих наро́дів, що підносять ро́га проти Юдиного кра́ю, щоб його розпоро́шити“.
and I, saith Jehovah, I will be unto her a wall of fire round about, and will be the glory in the midst of her.
І звів я очі свої та й побачив, аж ось муж, а в його руці мірни́чий шнур.
The Redemption of Zion
Ho, ho! flee from the land of the north, saith Jehovah; for I have scattered you abroad as the four winds of the heavens, saith Jehovah.

І сказав я: „Куди ти йдеш?“ А він відказав мені: „Щоб змі́ряти Єрусалим, щоб побачити, яка ширина́ його та яка довжина́ його“.
Ho! escape, Zion, that dwellest with the daughter of Babylon.
Аж ось ангол, що говорив зо мною, виходить, а навпроти нього виходить Ангол інший.
For thus saith Jehovah of hosts: After the glory, hath he sent me unto the nations that made you a spoil; for he that toucheth you toucheth the apple of his eye.
І сказав він до нього: „Біжи, говори цьому юнако́ві, кажучи: Невкрі́плений буде Єрусалим через многість людей та худоби в сере́дині його.
For behold, I will shake my hand upon them, and they shall become a spoil to those that served them: and ye shall know that Jehovah of hosts hath sent me.
А Я стану для нього, — говорить Господь, — огняни́м муром навко́ло, і стану славою в сере́дині його.
Sing aloud and rejoice, daughter of Zion; for behold, I come, and I will dwell in the midst of thee, saith Jehovah.
„Горе, горе, — втікайте з північного кра́ю, — говорить Госпо́дь, — бо на чотири небесні вітри́ розпоро́шу Я вас, промовляє Господь.
And many nations shall join themselves to Jehovah in that day, and shall be unto me for a people; and I will dwell in the midst of thee, and thou shalt know that Jehovah of hosts hath sent me unto thee.
Горе, — втікай до Сіону, мешка́нко дочки́ Вавило́ну!
And Jehovah shall inherit Judah [as] his portion in the holy land, and shall yet choose Jerusalem.
Бо так промовляє Госпо́дь Савао́т: Для слави послав Він мене до наро́дів, що вас грабува́ли, бо хто вас дото́ркується, той дото́ркується до зірця́ Його ока.
