Paul's Greeting

Paul, apostle of Jesus Christ by God's will, to the saints and faithful in Christ Jesus who are at Ephesus.

1

Вітання від Павла, апостола Ісуса Христа волею Божою, до людей Божих в Ефесі [1] віруючих в Ісуса Христа.

Grace to you and peace from God our Father, and [the] Lord Jesus Christ.

Благодать і мир вам від Бога, Отця нашого, і від Господа нашого Ісуса Христа.

Spiritual Blessings

Blessed [be] the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenlies in Christ;

Благословенний Бог і Отець Господа нашого Ісуса Христа. У Христі Він благословив нас усіма духовними благословеннями в Царстві Небеснім.

4

according as he has chosen us in him before [the] world's foundation, that we should be holy and blameless before him in love;

Бог обрав нас у Христі ще до створення світу, щоб були ми святими й чистими перед Ним, бо Він любить нас.

5

having marked us out beforehand for adoption through Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,

to [the] praise of [the] glory of his grace, wherein he has taken us into favour in the Beloved:

І то на похвалу милості Його, якою обдарував Він нас в особі Свого улюбленого Сина.

7

in whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of offences, according to the riches of his grace;

7

Його пролита кров дала нам звільнення від гріхів. Нам прощено гріхи наші завдяки багатству милості Його.

8

which he has caused to abound towards us in all wisdom and intelligence,

Цю милість дарував нам Всевишній у Своїй глибокій премудрості й завбачливості.

9

having made known to us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he purposed in himself

9

Він відкрив нам таємницю волі Своєї, яка мала бути здійснена через Ісуса Христа.

10

for [the] administration of the fulness of times; to head up all things in the Christ, the things in the heavens and the things upon the earth; in him,

10

Мета Божа в тому, щоб, коли настане належна година, об’єднати в Христі все, що є на небі й на землі.

11

in whom we have also obtained an inheritance, being marked out beforehand according to the purpose of him who works all things according to the counsel of his own will,

Завдяки Христові ми стали людьми Божими і спадкоємцями Його. Нам це було визначено наперед згідно з намірами Того, Хто все здійснює за Своєю волею.

12

that we should be to [the] praise of his glory who have pre-trusted in the Christ:

12

Це сталося для того, щоб ми, євреї, ті хто були першими в надії на Христа, змогли проголошувати хвалу Славі Божій.

13

in whom *ye* also [have trusted], having heard the word of the truth, the glad tidings of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, ye have been sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise,

В Ньому і вас було позначено печаттю обіцяного Духа Святого, коли ви почули слово правди, Добру Звістку про спасіння й повірили в Христа. І зроблено це згідно з обітницею Божою.

14

who is [the] earnest of our inheritance to the redemption of the acquired possession to [the] praise of his glory.

14

Дух Святий є запорукою нашої спадщини, аж поки Бог не дасть звільнення нам, тобто тим, хто належить Йому. І ми вознесемо хвалу Його славі.

15

Prayer for Spiritual Wisdom

Wherefore *I* also, having heard of the faith in the Lord Jesus which [is] in you, and the love which [ye have] towards all the saints,

15-16

Відтоді, як я почув про вашу віру в Господа Ісуса і про вашу любов до всіх людей Божих, я не перестаю дякувати Богові за вас, згадуючи вас у своїх молитвах.

16

do not cease giving thanks for you, making mention [of you] at my prayers,

17

that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, would give you [the] spirit of wisdom and revelation in the full knowledge of him,

Я молюся, щоб Бог Господа нашого Ісуса Христа, Славний Отець, дарував вам мудре серце й відкритість до Його одкровення, щоб ви могли пізнати Його.

18

being enlightened in the eyes of your heart, so that ye should know what is the hope of his calling, [and] what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,

Я молюся, щоб ваші серця відкрилися для сприйняття світла, і ви зрозуміли, що є надія, до якої Він закликає вас; яка багата й прекрасна спадщина, котру Бог її дарує святим людям Своїм; щоб ви збагнули, яка незрівнянно могутня влада Його для нас, хто вірить. Його сила й могутність

and what the surpassing greatness of his power towards us who believe, according to the working of the might of his strength,

20

[in] which he wrought in the Christ [in] raising him from among [the] dead, and he set him down at his right hand in the heavenlies,

20

були виявлені в Христі, коли Всевишній воскресив Його з мертвих і посадив праворуч від Себе на Небесах.

21

above every principality, and authority, and power, and dominion, and every name named, not only in this age, but also in that to come;

21

Він посадив Христа вище всіх правителів, влади, сили й царів, вище будь-якого звання, що може бути присвоєне, і не лише в наші часи, а й у майбутньому.

22

and has put all things under his feet, and gave him [to be] head over all things to the assembly,

22

Бог усе віддав під владу Христову і зробив Його Головою церкви.

23

which is his body, the fulness of him who fills all in all:

23

Церква — це Тіло Христове, яку Він наповнює Собою. І Він наповнює всесвіт.
