Rejoicing in Heaven

After these things I heard as a loud voice of a great multitude in the heaven, saying, Hallelujah: the salvation and the glory and the power of our God:

После этого я услышал голос, звучащий как голос огромного множества людей. Они восклицали в небесах:

— Аллилуйя!
Спасение, слава и сила у нашего Бога,

for true and righteous [are] his judgments; for he has judged the great harlot which corrupted the earth with her fornication, and has avenged the blood of his bondmen at her hand.

потому что Его суды истинны и справедливы!
Он осудил великую блудницу,
которая растлила мир своим развратом.
Он отомстил ей за кровь Своих слуг!

And a second time they said, Hallelujah. And her smoke goes up to the ages of ages.

И они опять воскликнули:

— Аллилуйя!
И дым от нее поднимается во веки веков!129

And the twenty-four elders and the four living creatures fell down and did homage to God who sits upon the throne, saying, Amen, Hallelujah.

Двадцать четыре старца и четыре живых существа пали и поклонились Богу, сидящему на троне, говоря:

— Аминь! Аллилуйя!

And a voice came out of the throne, saying, Praise our God, all ye his bondmen, [and] ye that fear him, small and great.

И от трона прозвучал голос:

— Хвалите нашего Бога,
все Его слуги
и все боящиеся Его,
малые и великие!

The Marriage of the Lamb

And I heard as a voice of a great crowd, and as a voice of many waters, and as a voice of strong thunders, saying, Hallelujah, for [the] Lord our God the Almighty has taken to himself kingly power.

Затем я услышал голос, звучавший как голос множества людей, или как шум могучих вод, или как мощный раскат грома:

— Аллилуйя!
Потому что наш Господь Бог Вседержитель воцарился!

Let us rejoice and exult, and give him glory; for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife has made herself ready.

Давайте радоваться и веселиться!
Воздадим Ему славу!
Наступил час бракосочетания Ягненка!130
Его невеста уже приготовила себя!

And it was given to her that she should be clothed in fine linen, bright [and] pure; for the fine linen is the righteousnesses of the saints.

Ей дано тончайшее льняное платье,
чистое и блестящее.

(Это платье — символ праведных дел святых.)131

And he says to me, Write, Blessed [are] they who are called to the supper of the marriage of the Lamb. And he says to me, These are the true words of God.

Потом ангел сказал мне:
— Запиши: блаженны те, кто приглашен на свадебный пир Ягненка!
И добавил:
— Это истинные слова Божьи.

10

And I fell before his feet to do him homage. And he says to me, See [thou do it] not. I am thy fellow-bondman, and [the fellow-bondman] of thy brethren who have the testimony of Jesus. Do homage to God. For the spirit of prophecy is the testimony of Jesus.

Тогда я пал к его ногам, чтобы поклониться ему, но он сказал мне:
— Не делай этого! Я тоже слуга Бога, как ты и твои братья, держащиеся свидетельства Иисуса.132 Поклонись Богу! Потому что свидетельство об Иисусе — это дух пророчества.

The Rider on the White Horse

And I saw the heaven opened, and behold, a white horse, and one sitting on it, [called] Faithful and True, and he judges and makes war in righteousness.

И увидел я раскрытые небеса и всадника на белом коне. Всадника звали Верный и Истинный.133 Он справедливо судит и ведет войну.

12

And his eyes are a flame of fire, and upon his head many diadems, having a name written which no one knows but himself;

Его глаза как пылающий огонь, и на Его голове множество венцов. На Нем написано имя, которого никто не знает, кроме Него Самого.134

13

and [he is] clothed with a garment dipped in blood; and his name is called The Word of God.

13

Он одет в плащ, обагренный кровью, и имя Его — Слово Божье.135

14

And the armies which [are] in the heaven followed him upon white horses, clad in white, pure, fine linen.

За Ним следует небесное войско, всадники на белых конях, одетые в тончайшую льняную одежду, чистую и белую.

15

And out of his mouth goes a sharp [two-edged] sword, that with it he might smite the nations; and he shall shepherd them with an iron rod; and he treads the wine-press of the fury of the wrath of God the Almighty.

Из Его рта выходит острый меч,136 чтобы поражать им народы. Он правит железным скипетром и топчет в давильне виноград, готовя вино ярости и гнева Бога Вседержителя.137

16

And he has upon his garment, and upon his thigh, a name written, King of kings, and Lord of lords.

На Его плаще и бедре написано имя:
царь царей и господь господствующих.

Defeat of the Beast and False Prophet

And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the birds that fly in mid-heaven, Come, gather yourselves to the great supper of God,

И я увидел ангела, стоящего на солнце. Он громко крикнул всем птицам, летающим посреди неба:
— Сюда! Собирайтесь на великий пир Бога!

18

that ye may eat flesh of kings, and flesh of chiliarchs, and flesh of strong men, and flesh of horses and of those that sit upon them, and flesh of all, both free and bond, and small and great.

Вы будете есть тела царей, военачальников, могущественных людей, тела коней и их всадников, тела всех людей, свободных и рабов, малых и великих.138

19

And I saw the beast and the kings of the earth and their armies gathered together to make war against him that sat upon the horse, and against his army.

19

Затем я увидел зверя и царей земли с их войсками. Они собирались на битву со Всадником на коне и с Его армией.

20

And the beast was taken, and the false prophet that [was] with him, who wrought the signs before him by which he deceived them that received the mark of the beast, and those that worship his image. Alive were both cast into the lake of fire which burns with brimstone;

И схвачен был зверь и вместе с ним лжепророк, который сотворил от имени зверя знамения и обманул тех, кто получил клеймо зверя и поклонялся его изображению. И тот, и другой были брошены заживо в огненное озеро, горящее серой.139

21

and the rest were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which goes out of his mouth; and all the birds were filled with their flesh.
