“This shall be the law of the leprous person for the day of his cleansing. He shall be brought to the priest,
Das ist die Weisung für den Aussätzigen, wenn er für rein erklärt wird: Man soll ihn zum Priester führen
and the priest shall go out of the camp, and the priest shall look. Then, if the case of leprous disease is healed in the leprous person,
und der Priester soll vor das Lager herauskommen. Stellt er nach der Untersuchung fest, dass der Aussätzige von seinem Aussatz geheilt ist,
soll er anordnen, dass man für den, der sich der Reinigung unterzieht, zwei lebende reine Vögel, Zedernholz, Karmesin und Ysop nimmt.
Dann soll er anordnen, den einen Vogel über einem Tongefäß mit Quellwasser zu schlachten.
He shall take the live bird with the cedarwood and the scarlet yarn and the hyssop, and dip them and the live bird in the blood of the bird that was killed over the fresh water.
Den lebenden Vogel, das Zedernholz, das Karmesin und den Ysop soll er nehmen und alles, auch den lebenden Vogel, in das Blut des über dem Quellwasser geschlachteten Vogels tauchen.
And he shall sprinkle it seven times on him who is to be cleansed of the leprous disease. Then he shall pronounce him clean and shall let the living bird go into the open field.
Nun soll er den, der sich der Reinigung vom Aussatz unterzieht, siebenmal besprengen und ihn für rein erklären. Den lebenden Vogel soll er ins freie Feld schicken.
And he who is to be cleansed shall wash his clothes and shave off all his hair and bathe himself in water, and he shall be clean. And after that he may come into the camp, but live outside his tent seven days.
Der sich der Reinigung unterzieht, der soll seine Kleider waschen, sein ganzes Haar scheren, sich in Wasser baden und dann rein sein. Nachher darf er ins Lager kommen, muss aber noch sieben Tage außerhalb seines Zeltes bleiben.
And on the seventh day he shall shave off all his hair from his head, his beard, and his eyebrows. He shall shave off all his hair, and then he shall wash his clothes and bathe his body in water, and he shall be clean.
Am siebten Tag soll er sein ganzes Haar scheren, die Kopfhaare, den Bart und die Augenbrauen; alle Haare muss er scheren. Nachdem er seine Kleider gewaschen und seinen Körper in Wasser gebadet hat, ist er rein.
Am achten Tag soll er zwei fehlerlose Widder, ein einjähriges fehlerloses Schaf, drei Zehntel Efa Weizenfeinmehl mit Öl vermengt als Speiseopfer und ein Log Öl nehmen.
And the priest who cleanses him shall set the man who is to be cleansed and these things before the Lord, at the entrance of the tent of meeting.

And the priest shall take one of the male lambs and offer it for a guilt offering, along with the log of oil, and wave them for a wave offering before the Lord.
Dann soll er den einen Widder nehmen, ihn zusammen mit dem Log Öl als Schuldopfer darbringen und beide als Erhebungsopfer vor dem HERRN emporheben.
And he shall kill the lamb in the place where they kill the sin offering and the burnt offering, in the place of the sanctuary. For the guilt offering, like the sin offering, belongs to the priest; it is most holy.
Er soll den Widder an der Stelle schlachten, wo man das Sünd- und das Brandopfer schlachtet, an dem heiligen Ort; denn das Schuldopfer gehört wie das Sündopfer dem Priester, es ist etwas Hochheiliges.
The priest shall take some of the blood of the guilt offering, and the priest shall put it on the lobe of the right ear of him who is to be cleansed and on the thumb of his right hand and on the big toe of his right foot.
Der Priester soll etwas Blut vom Schuldopfer nehmen und es auf das rechte Ohrläppchen dessen tun, der sich der Reinigung unterzieht, und auf den Daumen seiner rechten Hand und auf die große Zehe seines rechten Fußes.
Then the priest shall take some of the log of oil and pour it into the palm of his own left hand
Dann soll er etwas von dem Log Öl nehmen und auf seinen eigenen linken Handteller gießen.
and dip his right finger in the oil that is in his left hand and sprinkle some oil with his finger seven times before the Lord.
Er soll seinen rechten Zeigefinger in das Öl, das auf seinem linken Handteller ist, tauchen und mit diesem Finger siebenmal Öl vor dem HERRN verspritzen.
And some of the oil that remains in his hand the priest shall put on the lobe of the right ear of him who is to be cleansed and on the thumb of his right hand and on the big toe of his right foot, on top of the blood of the guilt offering.
Dann soll er etwas von dem auf seinem Handteller übrig gebliebenen Öl auf das rechte Ohrläppchen dessen tun, der sich der Reinigung unterzieht, auf den Daumen seiner rechten Hand und auf die große Zehe seines rechten Fußes, auf das Blut des Schuldopfers.
And the rest of the oil that is in the priest’s hand he shall put on the head of him who is to be cleansed. Then the priest shall make atonement for him before the Lord.
Den Rest des Öls, das er auf seinem Handteller hat, soll er auf den Kopf dessen tun, der sich der Reinigung unterzieht. So soll der Priester für ihn vor dem HERRN Versöhnung erwirken.
The priest shall offer the sin offering, to make atonement for him who is to be cleansed from his uncleanness. And afterward he shall kill the burnt offering.
Nun soll der Priester das Sündopfer durchführen und für den, der sich der Reinigung unterzieht, von seiner Unreinheit Versöhnung erwirken. Danach soll er das Brandopfer schlachten.
And the priest shall offer the burnt offering and the grain offering on the altar. Thus the priest shall make atonement for him, and he shall be clean.
Der Priester soll das Brandopfer und das Speiseopfer auf dem Altar darbringen und für den betreffenden Menschen Versöhnung erwirken. So ist er rein.
“But if he is poor and cannot afford so much, then he shall take one male lamb for a guilt offering to be waved, to make atonement for him, and a tenth of an ephah of fine flour mixed with oil for a grain offering, and a log of oil;
Wenn er arm ist und seine Mittel nicht ausreichen, soll er einen Widder als Schuldopfer für das Erhebungsopfer nehmen, um für ihn Versöhnung zu erwirken. Er soll nur ein Zehntel Efa Weizenfeinmehl mit Öl vermengt und ein Log Öl als Speiseopfer nehmen,
also two turtledoves or two pigeons, whichever he can afford. The one shall be a sin offering and the other a burnt offering.
und je nachdem es seine Mittel gestatten, soll er zwei Turteltauben oder zwei Felsentauben bringen, von denen die eine als Sündopfer und die andere als Brandopfer dienen soll.
And on the eighth day he shall bring them for his cleansing to the priest, to the entrance of the tent of meeting, before the Lord.
Er soll sie am achten Tag zu seiner Reinigung dem Priester zum Eingang des Offenbarungszeltes vor den HERRN bringen.
And the priest shall take the lamb of the guilt offering and the log of oil, and the priest shall wave them for a wave offering before the Lord.
Der Priester soll den Widder des Schuldopfers und das Log Öl nehmen und als Erhebungsopfer vor dem HERRN emporheben.
And he shall kill the lamb of the guilt offering. And the priest shall take some of the blood of the guilt offering and put it on the lobe of the right ear of him who is to be cleansed, and on the thumb of his right hand and on the big toe of his right foot.
Hat er diesen Widder des Schuldopfers geschlachtet, dann nehme er etwas Blut vom Schuldopfer und tue es auf das rechte Ohrläppchen dessen, der sich der Reinigung unterzieht, auf den Daumen seiner rechten Hand und auf die große Zehe seines rechten Fußes.
And the priest shall pour some of the oil into the palm of his own left hand,
Der Priester soll etwas Öl auf seinen linken Handteller gießen
and shall sprinkle with his right finger some of the oil that is in his left hand seven times before the Lord.
und etwas von diesem Öl, das auf seinem linken Handteller ist, mit seinem rechten Zeigefinger siebenmal vor dem HERRN verspritzen.
And the priest shall put some of the oil that is in his hand on the lobe of the right ear of him who is to be cleansed and on the thumb of his right hand and on the big toe of his right foot, in the place where the blood of the guilt offering was put.
Dann soll der Priester etwas von dem Öl, das auf seinem Handteller ist, auf das rechte Ohrläppchen dessen, der sich der Reinigung unterzieht, auf den Daumen seiner rechten Hand und auf die große Zehe seines rechten Fußes tun, und zwar auf die Stelle des Blutes des Schuldopfers.
And the rest of the oil that is in the priest’s hand he shall put on the head of him who is to be cleansed, to make atonement for him before the Lord.
Den Rest des Öls auf seinem Handteller soll der Priester auf den Kopf dessen tun, der sich der Reinigung unterzieht. So soll er für ihn vor dem HERRN Versöhnung erwirken.
And he shall offer, of the turtledoves or pigeons, whichever he can afford,
Seinen Mitteln entsprechend soll er die eine der beiden Turteltauben oder Felsentauben
als ein Sündopfer und die andere als ein Brandopfer mit einem Speiseopfer verwenden. Der Priester soll damit für den, der sich der Reinigung unterzieht, vor dem HERRN Versöhnung erwirken.
This is the law for him in whom is a case of leprous disease, who cannot afford the offerings for his cleansing.”
Das ist die Weisung für einen, der vom Aussatz befallen ist und dessen Mittel für seine Reinigung nicht ausreichen.
Laws for Cleansing Houses
The Lord spoke to Moses and Aaron, saying,
The Lord spoke to Moses and Aaron, saying,
Der HERR sprach zu Mose und Aaron:
“When you come into the land of Canaan, which I give you for a possession, and I put a case of leprous disease in a house in the land of your possession,
Wenn ihr in das Land Kanaan kommt, das ich euch zum Besitz gebe, und ich lasse an einem Haus des Landes, das ihr besitzen werdet, ein Anzeichen von Aussatz auftreten,
then he who owns the house shall come and tell the priest, ‘There seems to me to be some case of disease in my house.’
so soll der Hausherr kommen, es dem Priester anzeigen und sagen: Ich habe an meinem Haus so etwas wie Aussatz gesehen.
Then the priest shall command that they empty the house before the priest goes to examine the disease, lest all that is in the house be declared unclean. And afterward the priest shall go in to see the house.
Der Priester soll anordnen, dass man das Haus räumt, bevor er kommt, um das Anzeichen zu untersuchen; auf diese Weise wird das, was sich im Haus befindet, nicht unrein. Danach erst soll der Priester kommen, um das Haus zu untersuchen.
And he shall examine the disease. And if the disease is in the walls of the house with greenish or reddish spots, and if it appears to be deeper than the surface,
Stellt er dabei fest, dass sich an den Mauern des Hauses grünlich-gelbe oder rötliche Vertiefungen zeigen, die Mulden in der Mauer bilden,
then the priest shall go out of the house to the door of the house and shut up the house seven days.
so soll der Priester aus dem Haus zum Eingang des Hauses hinausgehen und das Haus für sieben Tage abschließen.
And the priest shall come again on the seventh day, and look. If the disease has spread in the walls of the house,
Am siebten Tag soll er wiederkommen. Stellt er bei der Untersuchung fest, dass sich das Anzeichen an den Hausmauern ausgebreitet hat,
then the priest shall command that they take out the stones in which is the disease and throw them into an unclean place outside the city.
so ordne er an, die Steine, die von dem Anzeichen befallen sind, herauszureißen und sie vor die Stadt hinaus an einen unreinen Ort zu werfen.
And he shall have the inside of the house scraped all around, and the plaster that they scrape off they shall pour out in an unclean place outside the city.
Dann soll er die Innenwände des Hauses abkratzen lassen und man soll den so entfernten Mörtel aus der Stadt hinausschaffen und an einen unreinen Ort schütten.
Then they shall take other stones and put them in the place of those stones, and he shall take other plaster and plaster the house.
Man soll andere Steine nehmen, um die herausgerissenen zu ersetzen, und das Haus mit frischem Mörtel verputzen.
“If the disease breaks out again in the house, after he has taken out the stones and scraped the house and plastered it,
Hat man die Steine entfernt, das Haus abgekratzt und neu verputzt und das Anzeichen bricht wieder aus,
then the priest shall go and look. And if the disease has spread in the house, it is a persistent leprous disease in the house; it is unclean.
soll der Priester kommen, um es zu untersuchen. Stellt er fest, dass sich das Anzeichen an dem Haus ausgebreitet hat, so ist bösartiger Aussatz an dem Haus; es ist unrein.
And he shall break down the house, its stones and timber and all the plaster of the house, and he shall carry them out of the city to an unclean place.
Man soll es niederreißen und seine Steine, seine Balken und seinen ganzen Mörtelverputz vor die Stadt hinausbringen an einen unreinen Ort.
Moreover, whoever enters the house while it is shut up shall be unclean until the evening,
Jeder, der das Haus während der Tage, an denen es durch den Priester verschlossen war, betreten hat, ist unrein bis zum Abend.
and whoever sleeps in the house shall wash his clothes, and whoever eats in the house shall wash his clothes.
Wer im Haus geschlafen hat, muss seine Kleider waschen; wer im Haus gegessen hat, muss seine Kleider waschen.
“But if the priest comes and looks, and if the disease has not spread in the house after the house was plastered, then the priest shall pronounce the house clean, for the disease is healed.
Kommt aber der Priester, um das Anzeichen zu untersuchen, und stellt fest, dass sich das Anzeichen, nachdem das Haus neu verputzt wurde, nicht ausgebreitet hat, soll er das Haus für rein erklären, denn das Anzeichen ist abgeheilt.
And for the cleansing of the house he shall take two small birds, with cedarwood and scarlet yarn and hyssop,
Um das Haus zu entsündigen, soll er zwei Vögel, Zedernholz, Karmesin und Ysop nehmen.
and shall kill one of the birds in an earthenware vessel over fresh water
Er soll einen der Vögel über einem Tongefäß mit Quellwasser schlachten.
and shall take the cedarwood and the hyssop and the scarlet yarn, along with the live bird, and dip them in the blood of the bird that was killed and in the fresh water and sprinkle the house seven times.
Dann soll er das Zedernholz, den Ysop, das Karmesin und den lebenden Vogel nehmen, um sie in das Blut des geschlachteten Vogels und in das Quellwasser zu tauchen. Er soll das Haus siebenmal besprengen und,
Thus he shall cleanse the house with the blood of the bird and with the fresh water and with the live bird and with the cedarwood and hyssop and scarlet yarn.
nachdem er das Haus mit dem Blut des Vogels, dem Quellwasser, dem lebenden Vogel, dem Zedernholz, dem Ysop und dem Karmesin entsündigt hat,
And he shall let the live bird go out of the city into the open country. So he shall make atonement for the house, and it shall be clean.”
den lebenden Vogel aus der Stadt hinaus ins freie Feld schicken. So erwirkt er Sühne für das Haus und es ist wieder rein.
This is the law for any case of leprous disease: for an itch,
Das ist die Weisung für jedes Anzeichen von Aussatz und Flechte,
