Miriam and Aaron Oppose Moses

Mirjam und Aaron machten Mose Vorwürfe, weil er eine Äthiopierin geheiratet hatte.
And they said, “Has the Lord indeed spoken only through Moses? Has he not spoken through us also?” And the Lord heard it.
Sie sagten auch: »Spricht der HERR etwa nur durch Mose? Hat er nicht auch durch uns geredet?« Mose schwieg dazu. Er war ein zurückhaltender Mann, demütiger als alle anderen Menschen auf der Welt. Aber der HERR hatte gehört, was Aaron und Mirjam gesagt hatten.
And suddenly the Lord said to Moses and to Aaron and Miriam, “Come out, you three, to the tent of meeting.” And the three of them came out.
Auf der Stelle befahl er den beiden und Mose: »Geht zum heiligen Zelt!« Die drei gehorchten.
And the Lord came down in a pillar of cloud and stood at the entrance of the tent and called Aaron and Miriam, and they both came forward.
Der HERR kam in der Wolkensäule herab und stellte sich an den Eingang des Zeltes. Er rief Aaron und Mirjam, und sie traten vor.
And he said, “Hear my words: If there is a prophet among you, I the Lord make myself known to him in a vision; I speak with him in a dream.
Dann wies er sie zurecht: »Hört, was ich euch sage! Wenn ich einem Propheten unter euch etwas mitteilen will, erscheine ich ihm in einer Vision oder spreche im Traum zu ihm.
Not so with my servant Moses. He is faithful in all my house.
Mit Mose aber rede ich anders. Denn er ist mein treuer Diener, ihm habe ich mein Volk anvertraut.
With him I speak mouth to mouth, clearly, and not in riddles, and he beholds the form of the Lord. Why then were you not afraid to speak against my servant Moses?”
Ich rede mit ihm von Angesicht zu Angesicht, nicht in geheimnisvollen Bildern, sondern in klaren Worten. Er darf mich sogar sehen. Wie könnt ihr es da wagen, ihn anzugreifen?«
And the anger of the Lord was kindled against them, and he departed.
Nach diesen Worten entfernte sich der HERR voller Zorn,
und die Wolke verschwand vom heiligen Zelt. Als Aaron sich zu Mirjam umdrehte, war ihre Haut weiß wie Schnee, denn sie war aussätzig geworden!
Aaron flehte Mose an: »Bitte, vergib uns! Wir haben unrecht gehandelt und Schuld auf uns geladen.
Let her not be as one dead, whose flesh is half eaten away when he comes out of his mother’s womb.”
Aber lass Mirjam nicht wie eine Totgeburt aussehen, die halb verwest aus dem Mutterleib kommt!«
And Moses cried to the Lord, “O God, please heal her — please.”
Da rief Mose zum HERRN: »O Gott, mach sie bitte wieder gesund!«
But the Lord said to Moses, “If her father had but spit in her face, should she not be shamed seven days? Let her be shut outside the camp seven days, and after that she may be brought in again.”
Der HERR antwortete ihm: »Wenn ihr Vater ihr verächtlich ins Gesicht gespuckt hätte, würde sie sich da nicht eine Woche lang schämen? Deshalb soll sie sieben Tage außerhalb des Lagers festgehalten werden. Danach könnt ihr sie wieder bei euch aufnehmen.«
So Miriam was shut outside the camp seven days, and the people did not set out on the march till Miriam was brought in again.
So musste Mirjam eine Woche außerhalb des Lagers bleiben. In dieser Zeit zog das Volk nicht weiter. Erst als sie wieder zurückgekehrt war,
