This is the land that yet remains: all the regions of the Philistines, and all those of the Geshurites
Das ist das Land, das noch übrig ist: alle Bezirke der Philister und das ganze Gebiet der Geschuriter
(from the Shihor, which is east of Egypt, northward to the boundary of Ekron, it is counted as Canaanite; there are five rulers of the Philistines, those of Gaza, Ashdod, Ashkelon, Gath, and Ekron), and those of the Avvim,
vom Schihor-Fluss östlich von Ägypten bis zum Gebiet von Ekron im Norden — es wird den Kanaanitern zugerechnet — , die fünf Philisterfürsten von Gaza, Aschdod, Aschkelon, Gat und Ekron sowie die Awiter
in the south, all the land of the Canaanites, and Mearah that belongs to the Sidonians, to Aphek, to the boundary of the Amorites,

and the land of the Gebalites, and all Lebanon, toward the sunrise, from Baal-gad below Mount Hermon to Lebo-hamath,
ferner das Land der Gibliter und der ganze Libanon gegen Sonnenaufgang, von Baal-Gad am Fuß des Hermongebirges bis nach Lebo-Hamat.
all the inhabitants of the hill country from Lebanon to Misrephoth-maim, even all the Sidonians. I myself will drive them out from before the people of Israel. Only allot the land to Israel for an inheritance, as I have commanded you.
Alle Bewohner des Berglandes vom Libanon bis nach Misrefot-Majim, alle Sidonier werde ich selbst vor den Israeliten vertreiben. Du aber verlose das Land für Israel als Erbbesitz, wie ich es dir befohlen habe!
Now therefore divide this land for an inheritance to the nine tribes and half the tribe of Manasseh.”
Verteil nun dieses Land als Erbbesitz an die neun Stämme und den halben Stamm Manasse!
Die andere Hälfte des Stammes Manasse und mit ihm die Rubeniter und Gaditer hatten ihren Erbbesitz schon erhalten; ihn hatte Mose ihnen jenseits des Jordan nach Osten gegeben, wie ihn Mose, der Knecht des HERRN, ihnen zugewiesen hatte,
from Aroer, which is on the edge of the Valley of the Arnon, and the city that is in the middle of the valley, and all the tableland of Medeba as far as Dibon;
von Aroër am Rand des Arnontales und von der Stadt an, die mitten im Tal liegt, also die ganze Ebene von Medeba bis Dibon,
and all the cities of Sihon king of the Amorites, who reigned in Heshbon, as far as the boundary of the Ammonites;
alle Städte des Amoriterkönigs Sihon, der in Heschbon herrschte, bis zum Gebiet der Ammoniter,
and Gilead, and the region of the Geshurites and Maacathites, and all Mount Hermon, and all Bashan to Salecah;
dazu Gilead und das Gebiet der Geschuriter und Maachatiter und das ganze Hermongebirge und den ganzen Baschan bis nach Salcha,
all the kingdom of Og in Bashan, who reigned in Ashtaroth and in Edrei (he alone was left of the remnant of the Rephaim); these Moses had struck and driven out.
das ganze Reich des Og im Baschan, der in Aschtarot und Edreï herrschte. Er war vom Rest der Rafaïter übrig geblieben. Mose hatte sie geschlagen und vertrieben.
Yet the people of Israel did not drive out the Geshurites or the Maacathites, but Geshur and Maacath dwell in the midst of Israel to this day.
Aber die Israeliten vertrieben die Geschuriter und die Maachatiter nicht; so wohnen Geschuriter und Maachatiter bis zum heutigen Tag mitten in Israel.
To the tribe of Levi alone Moses gave no inheritance. The offerings by fire to the Lord God of Israel are their inheritance, as he said to him.

And Moses gave an inheritance to the tribe of the people of Reuben according to their clans.

Ihnen war zuteilgeworden das Gebiet von Aroër am Rand des Arnontales und von der Stadt an, die mitten im Tal liegt: die ganze Ebene bei Medeba,
with Heshbon, and all its cities that are in the tableland; Dibon, and Bamoth-baal, and Beth-baal-meon,
Heschbon und alle seine Städte in der Ebene, Dibon, Bamot-Baal und Bet-Baal-Meon,
and Kiriathaim, and Sibmah, and Zereth-shahar on the hill of the valley,
Kirjatajim, Sibma und Zeret-Schahar auf dem Berg in der Talebene,
and Beth-peor, and the slopes of Pisgah, and Beth-jeshimoth,
Bet-Pegor, die Abhänge des Pisga, Bet-Jeschimot
that is, all the cities of the tableland, and all the kingdom of Sihon king of the Amorites, who reigned in Heshbon, whom Moses defeated with the leaders of Midian, Evi and Rekem and Zur and Hur and Reba, the princes of Sihon, who lived in the land.
und alle Städte der Ebene, das heißt: das ganze Reich des Amoriterkönigs Sihon, der in Heschbon herrschte. Mose hatte ihn und die Vornehmen Midians geschlagen: Ewi, Rekem, Zur, Hur und Reba, die Stammesführer Sihons, die im Land wohnten.
Balaam also, the son of Beor, the one who practiced divination, was killed with the sword by the people of Israel among the rest of their slain.
Auch den Wahrsager Bileam, den Sohn Beors, hatten die Israeliten zusammen mit den anderen mit dem Schwert erschlagen.
And the border of the people of Reuben was the Jordan as a boundary. This was the inheritance of the people of Reuben, according to their clans with their cities and villages.
Die Grenze der Rubeniter bildete der Jordan und sein Ufergebiet. Dieses Gebiet mit seinen Städten und Gehöften ist der Erbbesitz der Rubeniter, entsprechend ihren Sippen.
Moses gave an inheritance also to the tribe of Gad, to the people of Gad, according to their clans.

dazu in der Talebene Bet-Haram, Bet-Nimra, Sukkot und Zafon — der Rest des Reiches Sihons, des Königs von Heschbon — , ferner der Jordan und das Gebiet bis zum Ende des Sees von Kinneret jenseits des Jordan gegen Osten.
This is the inheritance of the people of Gad according to their clans, with their cities and villages.
Dieses Gebiet mit seinen Städten und Gehöften ist der Erbbesitz der Gaditer, entsprechend ihren Sippen.
And Moses gave an inheritance to the half-tribe of Manasseh. It was allotted to the half-tribe of the people of Manasseh according to their clans.
Mose hatte auch die Zuteilung an den halben Stamm Manasse vorgenommen und diese war auch für den halben Stamm der Manassiten nach seinen Sippen erfolgt.
Their region extended from Mahanaim, through all Bashan, the whole kingdom of Og king of Bashan, and all the towns of Jair, which are in Bashan, sixty cities,
Sein Gebiet umfasste von Mahanajim an den ganzen Baschan, das ganze Reich des Königs Og vom Baschan und alle Zeltdörfer Jaïrs im Baschan, sechzig Städte.
and half Gilead, and Ashtaroth, and Edrei, the cities of the kingdom of Og in Bashan. These were allotted to the people of Machir the son of Manasseh for the half of the people of Machir according to their clans.
Die Hälfte von Gilead sowie Aschtarot und Edreï, die Königsstädte des Og vom Baschan, fiel den Nachkommen Machirs, des Sohnes Manasses, zu, und zwar der Hälfte der Machiriter entsprechend ihren Sippen.
These are the inheritances that Moses distributed in the plains of Moab, beyond the Jordan east of Jericho.
Das sind die Gebiete, die Mose in den Steppen von Moab jenseits des Jordan östlich von Jericho als Erbbesitz verteilt hatte.
