Du sollst die vier Hörner des Altars, die vier Ecken seiner Sockel und die Abgrenzung um den Graben mit dem Blut des Stieres bestreichen. So reinigst du den Altar von aller Schuld, die auf ihm lastet.

Und von desselben Blut sollst du nehmen und seine vier Hörner damit besprengen und die vier Ecken an dem obersten Absatz und um die Leiste herum; damit sollst du ihn entsündigen und versöhnen.

Dann sollst du etwas von seinem Blut nehmen und es auf seine vier Hörner und auf die vier Ecken der Einfassung sowie ringsum auf die Umgrenzung tun. So sollst du ihn entsündigen und entsühnen.
