Elihu Proclaims God's Majesty
At this also my heart trembleth, and is moved out of his place.

Когда я думаю об этом, сердце моё трепещет.
Hear attentively the noise of his voice, and the sound that goeth out of his mouth.
Слушайте, слушайте все — голос Бога громоподобен, слушайте грохочущие звуки — они из уст Его.
He directeth it under the whole heaven, and his lightning unto the ends of the earth.
Господь посылает молнии, чтоб осветить всё небо, и этот свет — над всей землёй.
After it a voice roareth: he thundereth with the voice of his excellency; and he will not stay them when his voice is heard.
И после вспышек молний можно услышать грохочущий голос Господа. Сверкают молнии, и голос звучит — грохочущий, Господний.
God thundereth marvellously with his voice; great things doeth he, which we cannot comprehend.
Прекрасен голос Господа, Он делает великие дела, которые понять мы не способны.
For he saith to the snow, Be thou on the earth; likewise to the small rain, and to the great rain of his strength.
Господь говорит снегу: пади на землю; Господь говорит дождю: пролейся.
He sealeth up the hand of every man; that all men may know his work.
Господь это делает, чтобы все, сотворённые Им, знали, что Он это может.
Then the beasts go into dens, and remain in their places.
Звери прячутся в логовищах и остаются в них.
Out of the south cometh the whirlwind: and cold out of the north.
Смерчи приходят с юга и холодные ветры — с севера.
By the breath of God frost is given: and the breadth of the waters is straitened.
От дыхания Господа образуется лёд и он замораживает океаны.
Also by watering he wearieth the thick cloud: he scattereth his bright cloud:
Наполняет Господь водою тучи и рассылает повсюду.
And it is turned round about by his counsels: that they may do whatsoever he commandeth them upon the face of the world in the earth.
Повелевает Он тучам плыть над землёю — и тучи делают всё, что Господь велит.
He causeth it to come, whether for correction, or for his land, or for mercy.
Господь насылает тучи, чтоб наказать людей наводнением или дать людям воду, чтоб любовь свою показать.
Hearken unto this, O Job: stand still, and consider the wondrous works of God.
Иов, остановись и послушай о прекрасных делах Господних.
Dost thou know when God disposed them, and caused the light of his cloud to shine?
Знаешь ли ты, Иов, как Господь управляет тучами, как Он заставляет молнии вспыхивать?
Dost thou know the balancings of the clouds, the wondrous works of him which is perfect in knowledge?
Знаешь ли ты, как в небе держатся тучи? Они лишь пример Господних чудес. Господь знает всё обо всём.
How thy garments are warm, when he quieteth the earth by the south wind?
Но ты не знаешь этого, Иов, Ты знаешь только, что потом покрываешься и липнет на тебе одежда, когда всё спокойно, и прилетают с юга горячие ветры.
Hast thou with him spread out the sky, which is strong, and as a molten looking glass?
Иов, ты можешь Господу помочь раскинуть небеса, чтобы они сияли, как ослепительные зеркала?
Teach us what we shall say unto him; for we cannot order our speech by reason of darkness.
Скажи нам, Иов, что мы Господу должны сказать? Мы не можем придумать, у нас недостаточно знаний.
Shall it be told him that I speak? if a man speak, surely he shall be swallowed up.
Я бы Господу не сказал, что я с Ним хочу говорить, Это то же, что просьба об уничтожении.
And now men see not the bright light which is in the clouds: but the wind passeth, and cleanseth them.
Человек на солнце не может смотреть — слишком ярко всё в небе, когда ветер разнёс облака.
Fair weather cometh out of the north: with God is terrible majesty.
И таков же Господь — золотая Его слава со святой сияет горы, и вокруг Него ярок свет.
Touching the Almighty, we cannot find him out: he is excellent in power, and in judgment, and in plenty of justice: he will not afflict.
Всемогущий велик, мы понять Его не в состоянии, Он всемогущ, но добр и справедлив, Он боли нам не хочет причинить.
