  • God's Faithful Messiah

    {A Psalm of David.} The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.
  • A psalm of David.

    The LORD said to my Lord,a
    “Sit in the place of honor at my right hand
    until I humble your enemies,
    making them a footstool under your feet.”
  • The LORD shall send the rod of thy strength out of Zion: rule thou in the midst of thine enemies.
  • The LORD will extend your powerful kingdom from Jerusalemb;
    you will rule over your enemies.
  • Thy people shall be willing in the day of thy power, in the beauties of holiness from the womb of the morning: thou hast the dew of thy youth.
  • When you go to war,
    your people will serve you willingly.
    You are arrayed in holy garments,
    and your strength will be renewed each day like the morning dew.
  • The LORD hath sworn, and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchizedek.
  • The LORD has taken an oath and will not break his vow:
    “You are a priest forever in the order of Melchizedek.”
  • The Lord at thy right hand shall strike through kings in the day of his wrath.
  • The Lord stands at your right hand to protect you.
    He will strike down many kings when his anger erupts.
  • He shall judge among the heathen, he shall fill the places with the dead bodies; he shall wound the heads over many countries.
  • He will punish the nations
    and fill their lands with corpses;
    he will shatter heads over the whole earth.
  • He shall drink of the brook in the way: therefore shall he lift up the head.
  • But he himself will be refreshed from brooks along the way.
    He will be victorious.
