They speak vanity every one with his neighbour: with flattering lips and with a double heart do they speak.
HERR, komm mir doch zu Hilfe! Ich kenne keinen Menschen, der dir noch die Treue hält. Auf keinen kann man sich mehr verlassen.
The LORD shall cut off all flattering lips, and the tongue that speaketh proud things:
Jeder belügt jeden. Wie leicht kommen ihnen Komplimente über die Lippen, aber das ist nichts als Heuchelei.
Who have said, With our tongue will we prevail; our lips are our own: who is lord over us?
HERR, rotte diese Schmeichler aus, ja, bring diese Angeber zum Schweigen!
