  • Make a Joyful Shout to God, All the Earth!

    {To the chief Musician, A Song or Psalm.} Make a joyful noise unto God, all ye lands:
  • How Awesome Are Your Deeds

    To the choirmaster. A Song. A Psalm.

    Shout for joy to God, all the earth;
  • Sing forth the honour of his name: make his praise glorious.
  • sing the glory of his name;
    give to him glorious praise!
  • Say unto God, How terrible art thou in thy works! through the greatness of thy power shall thine enemies submit themselves unto thee.
  • Say to God, “How awesome are your deeds!
    So great is your power that your enemies come cringing to you.
  • All the earth shall worship thee, and shall sing unto thee; they shall sing to thy name. Selah.
  • All the earth worships you
    and sings praises to you;
    they sing praises to your name.” Selah
  • Come and see the works of God: he is terrible in his doing toward the children of men.
  • Come and see what God has done:
    he is awesome in his deeds toward the children of man.
  • He turned the sea into dry land: they went through the flood on foot: there did we rejoice in him.

  • O bless our God, ye people, and make the voice of his praise to be heard:
  • Bless our God, O peoples;
    let the sound of his praise be heard,
  • Which holdeth our soul in life, and suffereth not our feet to be moved.

    and has not let our feet slip.
  • For thou, O God, hast proved us: thou hast tried us, as silver is tried.
  • For you, O God, have tested us;
    you have tried us as silver is tried.
  • Thou broughtest us into the net; thou laidst affliction upon our loins.
  • You brought us into the net;
    you laid a crushing burden on our backs;
  • Thou hast caused men to ride over our heads; we went through fire and through water: but thou broughtest us out into a wealthy place.

  • I will go into thy house with burnt offerings: I will pay thee my vows,

  • Come and hear, all ye that fear God, and I will declare what he hath done for my soul.

    and I will tell what he has done for my soul.
  • I cried unto him with my mouth, and he was extolled with my tongue.

    and high praise was ona my tongue.b
  • If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me:
  • If I had cherished iniquity in my heart,
    the Lord would not have listened.
  • But verily God hath heard me; he hath attended to the voice of my prayer.
  • But truly God has listened;
    he has attended to the voice of my prayer.
  • Blessed be God, which hath not turned away my prayer, nor his mercy from me.
  • Blessed be God,
    because he has not rejected my prayer
    or removed his steadfast love from me!
