Auf, lasst uns zum HERRN zurückkehren! Denn er hat gerissen, er wird uns auch heilen; er hat verwundet, er wird uns auch verbinden.
After two days will he revive us: in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight.
Nach zwei Tagen gibt er uns das Leben zurück, am dritten Tag richtet er uns wieder auf und wir leben vor seinem Angesicht.
Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the LORD: his going forth is prepared as the morning; and he shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter and former rain unto the earth.
Lasst uns ihn erkennen, ja lasst uns nach der Erkenntnis des HERRN jagen! Er kommt so sicher wie das Morgenrot; er kommt zu uns wie der Regen, wie der Frühjahrsregen, der die Erde tränkt.
O Ephraim, what shall I do unto thee? O Judah, what shall I do unto thee? for your goodness is as a morning cloud, and as the early dew it goeth away.
Was soll ich mit dir tun, Efraim? Was soll ich mit dir tun, Juda? Eure Liebe ist wie eine Wolke am Morgen und wie der Tau, der bald vergeht.
Therefore have I hewed them by the prophets; I have slain them by the words of my mouth: and thy judgments are as the light that goeth forth.
Darum habe ich durch die Propheten zugeschlagen, habe sie durch die Worte meines Mundes umgebracht. Dann wird mein Recht hervorbrechen wie das Licht.
For I desired mercy, and not sacrifice; and the knowledge of God more than burnt offerings.
Denn an Liebe habe ich Gefallen, nicht an Schlachtopfern, an Gotteserkenntnis mehr als an Brandopfern.
But they like men have transgressed the covenant: there have they dealt treacherously against me.

And as troops of robbers wait for a man, so the company of priests murder in the way by consent: for they commit lewdness.
