Sins Requiring a Sin Offering
And if a soul sin, and hear the voice of swearing, and is a witness, whether he hath seen or known of it; if he do not utter it, then he shall bear his iniquity.

Angenommen, jemand sündigt in einem der folgenden Fälle: Er hat eine laute Verfluchung gehört, ist Zeuge, da er es gesehen oder darum gewusst hat, aber er zeigt es nicht an und lädt damit Schuld auf sich;
Or if a soul touch any unclean thing, whether it be a carcase of an unclean beast, or a carcase of unclean cattle, or the carcase of unclean creeping things, and if it be hidden from him; he also shall be unclean, and guilty.
oder jemand berührt eine unreine Sache, das Aas eines unreinen wilden Tieres oder eines unreinen Haustiers oder eines unreinen Kriechtiers und es bleibt ihm zunächst verborgen, aber er ist unrein und ist schuldig;
Or if he touch the uncleanness of man, whatsoever uncleanness it be that a man shall be defiled withal, and it be hid from him; when he knoweth of it, then he shall be guilty.
oder er berührt etwas Unreines von einem Menschen, dessen Berührung unrein macht, und es bleibt ihm zunächst verborgen, aber dann erkennt er es und ist schuldig;
Or if a soul swear, pronouncing with his lips to do evil, or to do good, whatsoever it be that a man shall pronounce with an oath, and it be hid from him; when he knoweth of it, then he shall be guilty in one of these.
oder jemand schwört unbesonnen, ob zum Schaden oder zum Nutzen, wie eben der Mensch bisweilen unbesonnen schwört, und es bleibt ihm zunächst verborgen, aber dann erkennt er es und ist schuldig in einem dieser Fälle —
And it shall be, when he shall be guilty in one of these things, that he shall confess that he hath sinned in that thing:
wenn also jemand in einem dieser Fälle schuldig ist, so soll er bekennen, wodurch er sich verfehlt hat.
And he shall bring his trespass offering unto the LORD for his sin which he hath sinned, a female from the flock, a lamb or a kid of the goats, for a sin offering; and the priest shall make an atonement for him concerning his sin.
Als Schuldopfer für seine begangene Sünde soll er dann ein weibliches Stück Kleinvieh, ein Schaf oder eine Ziege, vor den HERRN als Sündopfer bringen und der Priester soll für ihn von seiner Sünde Versöhnung erwirken.
And if he be not able to bring a lamb, then he shall bring for his trespass, which he hath committed, two turtledoves, or two young pigeons, unto the LORD; one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering.
Wenn seine Mittel für ein Schaf nicht ausreichen, soll er als Schuldopfer für seine Verfehlung zwei Turteltauben oder zwei Felsentauben vor den HERRN bringen, die eine als Sünd- und die andere als Brandopfer.
And he shall bring them unto the priest, who shall offer that which is for the sin offering first, and wring off his head from his neck, but shall not divide it asunder:
Er soll sie zum Priester bringen und dieser soll zuerst die eine für das Sündopfer darbringen. Er soll ihren Kopf vom Genick trennen, aber nicht ganz abreißen;
And he shall sprinkle of the blood of the sin offering upon the side of the altar; and the rest of the blood shall be wrung out at the bottom of the altar: it is a sin offering.
er soll etwas vom Blut des Sündopfers gegen die Altarwand spritzen und das übrige Blut am Sockel des Altars auspressen. Ein Sündopfer ist das.
And he shall offer the second for a burnt offering, according to the manner: and the priest shall make an atonement for him for his sin which he hath sinned, and it shall be forgiven him.
Die zweite Taube soll er, wie vorgeschrieben, als Brandopfer darbringen. Der Priester soll für ihn von der Sünde, die er begangen hat, Versöhnung erwirken; dann wird ihm vergeben werden.
But if he be not able to bring two turtledoves, or two young pigeons, then he that sinned shall bring for his offering the tenth part of an ephah of fine flour for a sin offering; he shall put no oil upon it, neither shall he put any frankincense thereon: for it is a sin offering.
Falls seine Mittel für zwei Turteltauben oder zwei Felsentauben nicht ausreichen, soll er als Opfergabe für seine Verfehlung ein Zehntel Efa Weizenfeinmehl darbringen, aber weder Öl noch Weihrauch darauftun, denn es ist ein Sündopfer.
Then shall he bring it to the priest, and the priest shall take his handful of it, even a memorial thereof, and burn it on the altar, according to the offerings made by fire unto the LORD: it is a sin offering.
Er bringe es dem Priester, der davon eine Handvoll nimmt und als Gedächtnisanteil auf dem Altar mit den Feueropfern des HERRN in Rauch aufgehen lässt. Ein Sündopfer ist das.
And the priest shall make an atonement for him as touching his sin that he hath sinned in one of these, and it shall be forgiven him: and the remnant shall be the priest's, as a meat offering.
Der Priester soll für ihn so von der von ihm in einem dieser Fälle begangenen Sünde Versöhnung erwirken und es wird ihm vergeben werden. Dem Priester gehört das Gleiche wie beim Speiseopfer.
If a soul commit a trespass, and sin through ignorance, in the holy things of the LORD; then he shall bring for his trespass unto the LORD a ram without blemish out of the flocks, with thy estimation by shekels of silver, after the shekel of the sanctuary, for a trespass offering:
Wenn jemand ein Sakrileg begeht und sich ohne Vorsatz an Dingen vergeht, die dem HERRN heilig sind, soll er als sein Schuldopfer für den HERRN von seiner Herde einen fehlerlosen Widder für ein Schuldopfer bringen nach dem Richtwert in Silberschekeln nach dem Schekelgewicht des Heiligtums.
And he shall make amends for the harm that he hath done in the holy thing, and shall add the fifth part thereto, and give it unto the priest: and the priest shall make an atonement for him with the ram of the trespass offering, and it shall be forgiven him.
Wenn er sich am Heiligen verfehlt hat, soll er Ersatz leisten und noch ein Fünftel des Wertes hinzufügen. Er soll es dem Priester geben und dieser soll für ihn mit dem Schuldopferwidder Versöhnung erwirken; dann wird ihm vergeben werden.
And if a soul sin, and commit any of these things which are forbidden to be done by the commandments of the LORD; though he wist it not, yet is he guilty, and shall bear his iniquity.
Wenn jemand sündigt und etwas tut, was der HERR verboten hat, es nicht bemerkt, aber dann sich seiner Schuld bewusst wird, soll er die Folgen seiner Schuld tragen.
And he shall bring a ram without blemish out of the flock, with thy estimation, for a trespass offering, unto the priest: and the priest shall make an atonement for him concerning his ignorance wherein he erred and wist it not, and it shall be forgiven him.
Er soll als Schuldopfer einen fehlerlosen Widder von seiner Herde nach dem Richtwert zum Priester bringen und dieser soll ihn für seine unabsichtliche Verfehlung, die er ohne Vorsatz begangen hat, entsühnen; dann wird ihm vergeben werden.
