The Second Passover
And the LORD spake unto Moses in the wilderness of Sinai, in the first month of the second year after they were come out of the land of Egypt, saying,

Im ersten Monat des zweiten Jahres nach ihrem Auszug aus Ägypten sprach der HERR in der Wüste Sinai zu Mose:
Let the children of Israel also keep the passover at his appointed season.
Die Israeliten sollen zur festgesetzten Zeit das Pessachfest feiern.
In the fourteenth day of this month, at even, ye shall keep it in his appointed season: according to all the rites of it, and according to all the ceremonies thereof, shall ye keep it.
Am vierzehnten Tag dieses Monats sollt ihr es in der Abenddämmerung zur festgesetzten Zeit feiern. Entsprechend aller betreffenden Satzungen und Rechtsentscheide sollt ihr es feiern.
And Moses spake unto the children of Israel, that they should keep the passover.
Da sagte Mose zu den Israeliten, sie sollten das Pessachfest feiern.
And they kept the passover on the fourteenth day of the first month at even in the wilderness of Sinai: according to all that the LORD commanded Moses, so did the children of Israel.
So feierten sie am vierzehnten Tag des ersten Monats in der Abenddämmerung das Pessachfest in der Wüste Sinai. Genauso, wie der HERR es Mose geboten hatte, machten es die Israeliten.
And there were certain men, who were defiled by the dead body of a man, that they could not keep the passover on that day: and they came before Moses and before Aaron on that day:
Es gab Männer, die unrein waren, weil sie einen toten Menschen berührt hatten, und die deshalb an jenem Tag das Pessachfest nicht feiern konnten. Die Männer kamen noch am selben Tag zu Mose und Aaron
And those men said unto him, We are defiled by the dead body of a man: wherefore are we kept back, that we may not offer an offering of the LORD in his appointed season among the children of Israel?
und sagten zu ihm: Wir sind unrein, weil wir einen toten Menschen berührt haben. Warum soll es uns verwehrt sein, zur festgesetzten Zeit wie die anderen Israeliten dem HERRN unsere Opfergabe darzubringen?
And Moses said unto them, Stand still, and I will hear what the LORD will command concerning you.
Mose antwortete ihnen: Bleibt da; ich will hören, was euch der HERR gebietet.
Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, If any man of you or of your posterity shall be unclean by reason of a dead body, or be in a journey afar off, yet he shall keep the passover unto the LORD.
Sag den Israeliten: Wenn irgendeiner unrein wurde durch Berührung eines Toten oder auf einer weiten Reise ist, sei es unter euch oder in den kommenden Generationen, er aber das Pessach für den HERRN feiern will,
The fourteenth day of the second month at even they shall keep it, and eat it with unleavened bread and bitter herbs.
dann dürfen sie es im zweiten Monat am vierzehnten Tag in der Abenddämmerung feiern; zu ungesäuerten Broten und Bitterkräutern sollen sie es essen.
They shall leave none of it unto the morning, nor break any bone of it: according to all the ordinances of the passover they shall keep it.
Sie sollen davon nichts bis zum nächsten Morgen übrig lassen und sollen an ihm keinen Knochen zerbrechen. Entsprechend der Pessachsatzung sollen sie es feiern.
But the man that is clean, and is not in a journey, and forbeareth to keep the passover, even the same soul shall be cut off from among his people: because he brought not the offering of the LORD in his appointed season, that man shall bear his sin.
Wer jedoch rein ist und sich nicht auf einer Reise befindet, es aber trotzdem unterlässt, das Pessachfest zu feiern, der soll aus seinen Stammesgenossen ausgemerzt werden, denn er hat dem HERRN seine Opfergabe nicht zur festgesetzten Zeit dargebracht; ein solcher Mensch muss die Folgen seiner Sünde tragen.
And if a stranger shall sojourn among you, and will keep the passover unto the LORD; according to the ordinance of the passover, and according to the manner thereof, so shall he do: ye shall have one ordinance, both for the stranger, and for him that was born in the land.
Wenn ein Fremder sich bei euch aufhält und das Pessachfest für den HERRN feiern will, dann soll er es nach der Pessachsatzung und ihren Rechtsentscheiden feiern. Für den Fremden und für den Einheimischen soll bei euch dieselbe Satzung gelten.
The Cloud above the Tabernacle
And on the day that the tabernacle was reared up the cloud covered the tabernacle, namely, the tent of the testimony: and at even there was upon the tabernacle as it were the appearance of fire, until the morning.

An dem Tag, als man die Wohnung aufstellte, bedeckte die Wolke die Wohnung, das Zelt des Bundeszeugnisses. Am Abend war über der Wohnung etwas wie ein Feuerschein bis zum Morgen.
So it was alway: the cloud covered it by day, and the appearance of fire by night.
So war es die ganze Zeit: Die Wolke bedeckte sie und bei Nacht der Feuerschein.
And when the cloud was taken up from the tabernacle, then after that the children of Israel journeyed: and in the place where the cloud abode, there the children of Israel pitched their tents.
Jedes Mal, wenn sich die Wolke über dem Zelt erhob, brachen die Israeliten daraufhin auf, und wo sich die Wolke niederließ, dort schlugen die Israeliten ihr Lager auf.
At the commandment of the LORD the children of Israel journeyed, and at the commandment of the LORD they pitched: as long as the cloud abode upon the tabernacle they rested in their tents.
Auf Befehl des HERRN brachen die Israeliten auf und auf Befehl des HERRN schlugen sie ihr Lager auf. Solange die Wolke über der Wohnung lag, blieben sie im Lager.
And when the cloud tarried long upon the tabernacle many days, then the children of Israel kept the charge of the LORD, and journeyed not.
Auch wenn die Wolke längere Zeit über der Wohnung verweilte, taten die Israeliten den Dienst des HERRN und brachen nicht auf.
And so it was, when the cloud was a few days upon the tabernacle; according to the commandment of the LORD they abode in their tents, and according to the commandment of the LORD they journeyed.
Und wenn es vorkam, dass die Wolke nur wenige Tage über der Wohnung war, blieben sie auf Befehl des HERRN im Lager und brachen auf Befehl des HERRN auf.
And so it was, when the cloud abode from even unto the morning, and that the cloud was taken up in the morning, then they journeyed: whether it was by day or by night that the cloud was taken up, they journeyed.
Und wenn es vorkam, dass die Wolke nur vom Abend bis zum Morgen blieb und sich am Morgen erhob, dann brachen sie am nächsten Morgen auf. Ob es bei Tag oder bei Nacht war: Wenn die Wolke sich erhob, brachen sie auf.
Or whether it were two days, or a month, or a year, that the cloud tarried upon the tabernacle, remaining thereon, the children of Israel abode in their tents, and journeyed not: but when it was taken up, they journeyed.
Ob es zwei Tage dauerte oder einen Monat oder noch länger: Wenn die Wolke über der Wohnung anhielt und blieb, dann schlugen die Israeliten ihr Lager auf und brachen nicht auf; erst wenn sie sich erhob, brachen sie auf.
At the commandment of the LORD they rested in the tents, and at the commandment of the LORD they journeyed: they kept the charge of the LORD, at the commandment of the LORD by the hand of Moses.
Auf Befehl des HERRN schlugen sie das Lager auf und auf Befehl des HERRN brachen sie auf. Sie taten den Dienst des HERRN gemäß dem durch Mose gegebenen Befehl des HERRN.
