Тоді Мойсей піднявся з моавського Аравоту на гору Навав, на вершину Фасґи, що напроти Єрихона, і Господь показав йому всю землю Ґалаад аж до Дана,
And all Naphtali, and the land of Ephraim, and Manasseh, and all the land of Judah, unto the utmost sea,
усю землю Нефталима, усю землю Ефраїма та Манасії, усю землю Юди аж до далекого моря,
And the south, and the plain of the valley of Jericho, the city of palm trees, unto Zoar.
пустелю та околиці Єрихона, міста пальм, аж до Сиґора.
And the LORD said unto him, This is the land which I sware unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, saying, I will give it unto thy seed: I have caused thee to see it with thine eyes, but thou shalt not go over thither.
І Господь сказав Мойсеєві: Ось земля, про яку Я поклявся Авраамові, Ісаакові та Якову, кажучи: Я дам її вашим нащадкам. Ось Я показав її твоїм очам, та ти туди не ввійдеш.
So Moses the servant of the LORD died there in the land of Moab, according to the word of the LORD.
І Мойсей, Господній слуга, помер там, у Моавській землі, згідно з Господнім словом.
And he buried him in a valley in the land of Moab, over against Bethpeor: but no man knoweth of his sepulchre unto this day.
Його поховали в Ґаї, у Моавській землі, поблизу дому Фоґора, і ніхто не знає, де його могила, аж до цього дня.
And Moses was an hundred and twenty years old when he died: his eye was not dim, nor his natural force abated.
Мойсеєві було сто двадцять років, коли він помер; його очі не потемніли і не знищилися.
And the children of Israel wept for Moses in the plains of Moab thirty days: so the days of weeping and mourning for Moses were ended.
Ізраїльські сини оплакували Мойсея в моавському Аравоті над Йорданом, біля Єрихона, тридцять днів, і дні скорботного оплакування Мойсея закінчилися.
And Joshua the son of Nun was full of the spirit of wisdom; for Moses had laid his hands upon him: and the children of Israel hearkened unto him, and did as the LORD commanded Moses.
А Ісус, син Навина, сповнився духом мудрості, бо Мойсей поклав на нього свої руки. Й Ізраїльські сини слухались його і чинили так, як Господь заповів Мойсеєві.
And there arose not a prophet since in Israel like unto Moses, whom the LORD knew face to face,
Та в Ізраїлі більше не з’являлося такого пророка як Мойсей, якого Господь знав обличчя в обличчя, —
In all the signs and the wonders, which the LORD sent him to do in the land of Egypt to Pharaoh, and to all his servants, and to all his land,
з усіма тими знаменнями та чудесами, які Господь послав його здійснити в Єгипетській землі фараонові, його слугам та всій його землі,
