Und das ganze Juda war fröhlich über dem Eide; denn sie hatten geschworen von ganzen Herzen, und suchten ihn mit ganzem Willen. Und er ließ sich von ihnen finden, und der HERR gab ihnen Ruhe umher.

Ganz Juda freute sich über den neuen Bund, denn sie hatten ihr Versprechen mit aufrichtigem Herzen gegeben. Sie waren entschlossen, so zu leben, wie es dem Herrn gefiel. Darum nahm der HERR sie wieder an und schenkte ihnen Frieden mit allen Völkern ringsum.

Ganz Juda freute sich über den Schwur; denn sie hatten ihn mit ganzem Herzen geleistet. Und da sie mit bestem Willen den HERRN suchten, ließ er sich von ihnen finden und verschaffte ihnen ringsum Ruhe.
