New American Standard Bible

New International Version

  • Out of the depths I have cried to You, O LORD.
  • Psalm 130
    A song of ascents.

    Out of the depths I cry to you, Lord;
  • Lord, hear my voice!
    Let Your ears be attentive
    To the voice of my supplications.
  • Lord, hear my voice.
    Let your ears be attentive
    to my cry for mercy.
  • If You, LORD, should mark iniquities,
    O Lord, who could stand?
  • If you, Lord, kept a record of sins,
    Lord, who could stand?
  • But there is forgiveness with You,
    That You may be feared.
  • But with you there is forgiveness,
    so that we can, with reverence, serve you.
  • I wait for the LORD, my soul does wait,
    And in His word do I hope.
  • I wait for the Lord, my whole being waits,
    and in his word I put my hope.
  • My soul waits for the Lord
    More than the watchmen for the morning;
    Indeed, more than the watchmen for the morning.
  • I wait for the Lord
    more than watchmen wait for the morning,
    more than watchmen wait for the morning.
  • O Israel, hope in the LORD;
    For with the LORD there is lovingkindness,
    And with Him is abundant redemption.
  • Israel, put your hope in the Lord,
    for with the Lord is unfailing love
    and with him is full redemption.
  • And He will redeem Israel
    From all his iniquities.
  • He himself will redeem Israel
    from all their sins.
