Praise to the Creator and Preserver.

Sing for joy in the LORD, O you righteous ones;
Praise is becoming to the upright.

Give thanks to the LORD with the lyre;
Sing praises to Him with a harp of ten strings.

Play skillfully with a shout of joy.

For the word of the LORD is upright,
And all His work is done in faithfulness.

He loves righteousness and justice;
The earth is full of the lovingkindness of the LORD.

Я Господа страждал, и Он отозвался, лишил меня страхов моих.

By the word of the LORD the heavens were made,
And by the breath of His mouth all their host.

Кто обращает взор к Нему, тот счастлив, лицо того не сумрачно.

He gathers the waters of the sea together as a heap;
He lays up the deeps in storehouses.

Господь — вот кто, когда к нему взывает о помощи бедняк, услышит и поможет!

Let all the earth fear the LORD;
Let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of Him.

Господний Ангел строит лагерь вокруг тех, кто следует за Ним. Он защищает их и ободряет.

For He spoke, and it was done;
He commanded, and it stood fast.

Вкусив от Господа, увидели, что Он — хорош. Благословен тот воин, что Ему себя вверяет.

The LORD nullifies the counsel of the nations;
He frustrates the plans of the peoples.

Святой народ Его страшится Господа и почитает, ибо приверженцы Его ни в чём не знают недостатка.

The counsel of the LORD stands forever,
The plans of His heart from generation to generation.

Даже львы молодые от голода могут истаять, но ищущий Господа, в благе не знает нужды.

Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD,
The people whom He has chosen for His own inheritance.

Как Бога любить я хочу научить вас, послушайте, дети мои.

The LORD looks from heaven;
He sees all the sons of men;

Кто ждёт добрых дней, кто из вас любит жизнь,

14

From His dwelling place He looks out
On all the inhabitants of the earth,

воздерживайтесь от злословия и не допускайте лжи.

15

He who fashions the hearts of them all,
He who understands all their works.

15

От зла отвернитесь, творите добро, к миру стремитесь, трудитесь во имя его!

16

The king is not saved by a mighty army;
A warrior is not delivered by great strength.

За праведным Божье око следит и слух Его — к их мольбам.

17

A horse is a false hope for victory;
Nor does it deliver anyone by its great strength.

От злых отворачивает Господь Свой лик и память о них с земли стирает.

18

Behold, the eye of the LORD is on those who fear Him,
On those who hope for His lovingkindness,

Зовут Его праведные, и Господь от всех неудач избавляет.

19

To deliver their soul from death
And to keep them alive in famine.

19

Господь близок к тем, чья гордость утрачена, и к тем, чей подавлен дух.

20

Our soul waits for the LORD;
He is our help and our shield.

20

Бывает у праведных много проблем, но Бог от них избавляет.

21

For our heart rejoices in Him,
Because we trust in His holy name.

22

Let Your lovingkindness, O LORD, be upon us,
According as we have hoped in You.

Но грешника зло убьёт, а праведника враг — погублен будет.
