    These also are proverbs of Solomon which the men of Hezekiah, king of Judah, transcribed.

    These are more proverbs of Solomon, compiled by the men of Hezekiah king of Judah:
  • It is the glory of God to conceal a matter,
    But the glory of kings is to search out a matter.
  • It is the glory of God to conceal a matter;
    to search out a matter is the glory of kings.
  • As the heavens for height and the earth for depth,
    So the heart of kings is unsearchable.
  • As the heavens are high and the earth is deep,
    so the hearts of kings are unsearchable.

    And there comes out a vessel for the smith;

    and a silversmith can produce a vessel;
  • Take away the wicked before the king,
    And his throne will be established in righteousness.
