Then Asa called to the Lord his God and said, “Lord, there is no one like you to help the powerless against the mighty. Help us, Lord our God, for we rely on you, and in your name we have come against this vast army. Lord, you are our God; do not let mere mortals prevail against you.”

And Asa cried unto the LORD his God, and said, LORD, it is nothing with thee to help, whether with many, or with them that have no power: help us, O LORD our God; for we rest on thee, and in thy name we go against this multitude. O LORD, thou art our God; let not man prevail against thee.

И воззвал Аса к Господу, Богу своему, и сказал: Господи! не в Твоей ли силе помочь сильному или бессильному? помоги же нам, Господи, Боже наш: ибо мы на Тебя уповаем и во имя Твоё вышли мы против множества сего. Господи! Ты Бог наш: да не превозможет Тебя человек.

І побив Господь кушеян перед Асою та перед Юдою, — і кушеяни повтікали.

Аса воззвал к Господу, своему Богу, и сказал:
— Господи, никто, кроме Тебя, не сможет помочь бессильному устоять против могучего. Помоги нам, Господи, Бог наш, потому что мы полагаемся на Тебя, и во имя Твое мы вышли против этого полчища. Господи, Ты наш Бог, не дай человеку одержать над Тобой победу. -
І Господь побив ефіопів перед Юдою, і ефіопи втекли.
