Zum Spott meiner Feinde bin ich geworden, selbst meine Nachbarn verhöhnen mich. Meine Bekannten erschrecken, wenn sie mich sehen, und wer mir auf der Straße begegnet, geht mir aus dem Weg.

Ja, diese Lügner sollen zum Schweigen gebracht werden! Überheblich und voller Verachtung verleumden sie den, der nach Gottes Willen lebt.

Doch groß ist deine Güte, HERR! Du hältst sie bereit für die Menschen, die dir mit Ehrfurcht begegnen. Vor aller Augen zeigst du sie denen, die bei dir Zuflucht suchen.
