For the director of music. Of the Sons of Korah. A psalm.

Clap your hands, all you nations;
shout to God with cries of joy.

Песнь. Псалом. Сынов Кореевых.

For the Lord Most High is awesome,
the great King over all the earth.

Велик Господь и всехвален во граде Бога нашего, на святой горе Его.

He subdued nations under us,
peoples under our feet.

Прекрасная возвышенность, радость всей земли гора Сион; на северной стороне её город великого Царя.

He chose our inheritance for us,
the pride of Jacob, whom he loved.b

Бог в жилищах его ведом, как заступник:

God has ascended amid shouts of joy,
the Lord amid the sounding of trumpets.

ибо вот, сошлись цари и прошли все мимо;

Sing praises to God, sing praises;
sing praises to our King, sing praises.

увидели и изумились, смутились и обратились в бегство;

For God is the King of all the earth;
sing to him a psalm of praise.

страх объял их там и мука, как у женщин в родах;

God reigns over the nations;
God is seated on his holy throne.

восточным ветром Ты сокрушил Фарсийские корабли.

The nobles of the nations assemble
as the people of the God of Abraham,
for the kingsc of the earth belong to God;
he is greatly exalted.

Как слышали мы, так и увидели во граде Господа сил, во граде Бога нашего: Бог утвердит его навеки.
