Auf dem ganzen heiligen Berg wird niemand etwas Böses tun und Schaden anrichten. Alle Menschen kennen den HERRN, das Wissen um ihn erfüllt das Land wie Wasser das Meer.
In that day the Root of Jesse will stand as a banner for the peoples; the nations will rally to him, and his resting place will be glorious.

Mitten unter den Völkern richtet er ein Zeichen auf, das ihnen den Weg weist. So sammelt er die Menschen, die aus Israel und Juda vertrieben und in die ganze Welt zerstreut wurden. Aus allen Himmelsrichtungen holt er sie zurück.

Der HERR wird Ägyptens Meeresarm austrocknen lassen. Dem Euphrat droht er mit geballter Faust und zerteilt ihn mit seinem glühenden Atem in sieben kleine Bäche, die man zu Fuß durchqueren kann.
