Brüder und Schwestern, wenn ein Mensch sich zu einer Verfehlung hinreißen lässt, so sollt ihr, die ihr vom Geist erfüllt seid, ihn im Geist der Sanftmut zurechtweisen. Doch gib Acht, dass du nicht selbst in Versuchung gerätst!

Those who want to impress people by means of the flesh are trying to compel you to be circumcised. The only reason they do this is to avoid being persecuted for the cross of Christ.
Jene Leute, die im Fleisch nach Anerkennung streben, nötigen euch nur deshalb zur Beschneidung, damit sie wegen des Kreuzes Christi nicht verfolgt werden.
Not even those who are circumcised keep the law, yet they want you to be circumcised that they may boast about your circumcision in the flesh.
Denn obwohl sie beschnitten sind, halten sie selbst das Gesetz nicht; dennoch dringen sie auf eure Beschneidung, damit sie sich eures Fleisches rühmen können.
