God’s Final Word: His Son

In der Vergangenheit hat Gott immer wieder und auf vielfältige Weise durch die Propheten zu unseren Vorfahren gesprochen.
but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom also he made the universe.
Doch jetzt, in dieser letzten Zeit, sprach Gott durch seinen Sohn zu uns. Durch ihn schuf Gott Himmel und Erde, und ihn hat er auch zum Erben über alles eingesetzt.
The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. After he had provided purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven.
In dem Sohn zeigt sich die göttliche Herrlichkeit seines Vaters, denn er ist ganz und gar Gottes Ebenbild. Sein Wort ist die Kraft, die das Weltall zusammenhält. Durch seinen Tod hat er uns von unserer Schuld befreit und nun den Ehrenplatz im Himmel eingenommen, an der rechten Seite Gottes, dem alle Macht gehört.
So he became as much superior to the angels as the name he has inherited is superior to theirs.
Gott hat Christus seinen Sohn genannt und ihn damit weit über alle Engel gestellt.
Zu welchem Engel hat Gott wohl jemals gesagt: »Du bist mein Sohn, heute bin ich dein Vater geworden«? Und zu keinem Engel hat Gott je gesagt: »Ich werde sein Vater sein, und er wird mein Sohn sein.«
Als Gott seinen erstgeborenen Sohn in diese Welt sandte, erfüllte sich das Wort: »Alle Engel sollen ihn anbeten.«
Von den Engeln heißt es in der Heiligen Schrift: »Gottes Engel sind Boten, die schnell sind wie der Wind, und Diener, die den Flammen eines Feuers gleichen.«

Von dem Sohn aber heißt es: »Deine Herrschaft, o Gott, bleibt immer und ewig bestehen. In deinem Reich herrscht vollkommene Gerechtigkeit.
Denn du liebst das Recht und hasst das Unrecht. Darum hat dich dein Gott als Herrscher eingesetzt und mehr als alle anderen mit Freude beschenkt.«
He also says,
“In the beginning, Lord, you laid the foundations of the earth,
and the heavens are the work of your hands.

Christus ist gemeint, wenn gesagt wird: »Am Anfang hast du, Herr, alles geschaffen. Die Erde und der Himmel, alles ist das Werk deiner Hände.

Sie werden vergehen, du aber bleibst. Wie alte Kleider werden sie zerfallen,

Hat Gott jemals zu einem Engel gesagt: »Setze dich auf den Ehrenplatz an meiner rechten Seite, bis ich dir alle deine Feinde unterworfen habe und du deinen Fuß auf ihren Nacken setzt«?
