The Military Divisions
And the children of Israel, according to their number, the heads of fathers’ houses, the captains of thousands and hundreds and their officers, served the king in every matter of the military divisions. Dies sind aber die Kinder Israel nach ihrer Zahl, die Häupter der Vaterhäuser und die Obersten über 1000 und über 100, und ihre Amtleute, die dem König dienten, nach ihren Ordnungen, die ab und zu zogen, einen jeglichen Monat eine, in allen Monaten des Jahres.
