A Psalm of David.

Bless the Lord, O my soul;
And all that is within me, bless His holy name!

Давида. Благослови, душе моя, Господа і все нутро моє — його святе ім'я.

Bless the Lord, O my soul,
And forget not all His benefits:

Благослови, душе моя, Господа і не забувай усіх добродійств його ніколи.

3

Who forgives all your iniquities,
Who heals all your diseases,

Він прощає усі твої провини, зціляє всі твої недуги.

4

Who redeems your life from destruction,
Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies,

Він визволяє життя твоє від ями, вінчає тебе ласкою та милосердям.

5

Who satisfies your mouth with good things,
So that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.

Він насичує твій вік похилий благом, й оновляється, як орел, твоя юність.

The Lord executes righteousness
And justice for all who are oppressed.

Господь творить правосуддя і суд усім прибитим.

He made known His ways to Moses,
His acts to the children of Israel.

Він показав Мойсеєві свої дороги, синам Ізраїля діла свої.

The Lord is merciful and gracious,
Slow to anger, and abounding in mercy.

Милосердний Господь і добрий, повільний до гніву і вельми милостивий.

9

He will not always strive with us,
Nor will He keep His anger forever.

Не буде вічно він змагатись й не буде гніватись повіки.

10

He has not dealt with us according to our sins,
Nor punished us according to our iniquities.

Не за гріхами нашими учинив він із нами, і не за провинами нашими відплатив він нам.

11

For as the heavens are high above the earth,
So great is His mercy toward those who fear Him;

Бо як високо небо над землею, така велика його милість над тими, що його бояться.

12

As far as the east is from the west,
So far has He removed our transgressions from us.

12

Як далеко схід від заходу, так віддалив він від нас злочинства наші.

13

As a father pities his children,
So the Lord pities those who fear Him.

13

Як батько милосердиться над синами, так милосердиться Господь над тими, що його бояться.

14

For He [a]knows our frame;
He remembers that we are dust.

14

Він знає, з чого ми зліплені, він пам'ятає, що ми — порох.

15

As for man, his days are like grass;
As a flower of the field, so he flourishes.

15

Чоловік бо — дні його, немов билина: квітне, мов квітка в полі.

16

For the wind passes over it, and it is [b]gone,
And its place remembers it no more.

16

Потягне над ним вітер, і його немає, і місце, де він був, його не впізнає більше.

17

But the mercy of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting
On those who fear Him,
And His righteousness to children’s children,

Милість же Господня від віку й до віку над тими, що його бояться; і справедливість його над дітьми дітей тих,

18

To such as keep His covenant,
And to those who remember His commandments to do them.

18

що бережуть його союз і про заповіді його пам'ятають, щоб їх виконувати.

19

The Lord has established His throne in heaven,
And His kingdom rules over all.

19

Господь на небі утвердив престол свій, і царство його усім володіє.

20

Bless the Lord, you His angels,
Who excel in strength, who do His word,
Heeding the voice of His word.

20

Благословіте Господа, всі ангели його, могутні силою, ви, що виконуєте його слово, покірні голосові його слова.

21

Bless the Lord, all you His hosts,
You [c]ministers of His, who do His pleasure.

21

Благословіте Господа, всі його небесні сили, слуги його, що чините його волю.

22

Bless the Lord, all His works,
In all places of His dominion.
Bless the Lord, O my soul!

Благословіте Господа, усі його твори, по всіх місцях його правління! Благослови, душе моя, Господа!
